My daughter and I arrived in Burnaby after a drive from the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal and needed a place to breathe out after facing the city traffic. I remembered Central Park from the years that my Mom had lived nearby, so we found the entrance off Imperial. Parking the vehicle, we were charmed to see a pond, ducks and... More

We enjoy visiting here for a quick walk in the trees even though you are still in the city. We also enjoy using the golf pitch and putt that they have here. Avoid this place if you are scared of squirrels as it is crawling in them. Grey, black, brown and bushy. Everywhere you look.

Live close to this park and I frequent it at least 3-4 times a week. It has great trails for runs and leisurely walks where you will see a lot of squirrels bouncing around. It has two small lakes with numerous families of ducks wandering around which makes great picture subjects. I believe some of the trees in this park... More

From toddlers to seniors: Playground for kids, training circuit for the young, exercise group for the seniors, 3 trails for the walkers and runners, horseshoe pit, golf course and swimming pool. Most of all, thanks for the park keepers, it is well kept.

This park is a really nice place to go for a walk or run. Patterson Skytrain Station is right at the edge of the park. Almost the entire park is forest, with gravel walking trails through it. There's tennis courts, a golf course, a couple ponds, a playground, a pool, and some other ammenities. Throughout the park there's some things... More

What a great park right at the boundary of Vancouver and Burnaby. This park has everything from an outdoor pool, children's playground, a sand pit, two ponds, BBQ areas, to a mini golf (for 8 yrs old & up). I spent the whole afternoon here with my three young children and they didn't want to leave! Recommend to bring snacks... More

This park is a great place to go Cora walk or a run. Lots of birds, mostly ducks but it is amazing. Nice place to just sit and relax and maybe forget you're in the city. A very nice well forested lark.

across from the Telus Boot building this park has a large track and field oval with tons of seating, great walking paths around and through wooded forest. I love the open to the public outdoor pool in the summer - go in the week and no-one expect a few oldies are quietly swimming.

Not only is this a great location for a walk, the park contains quite a few geocaches so you can add to your find list! The park has many things to do besides walking. Everything from horseshoes to swimming to golf and places to put out a blanket for a picnic. There is even a great playground for the kids!
