The park attendant has all the charm of an on-duty prison guard...a real power tripper. His presence really detracted from what is a lovely lakeside campsite.

We stayed in a double site where we all had lake view & access. We lucked out on having some fabulous weather! We are avid kayakers so we took advantage of venturing way out past the Bay. The facilities were very clean and well taken care of. I'm not sure why so many negative reviews towards the caretakers... we thought they were great and very friendly!?! We will definitely be back and hopefully can make it a yearly visit.

Great if you enjoy " suburban " camping ..reservations during summer are recommended. There are some large areas that groups can use - no drop in - groups especially must reserve . The lake is a BC Hydro impoundment so water levels depend on what Hydro is up to - maybe drawing down in anticipation of upcoming heavy rains for example . Not recommended if you like wild camping .. great for insecure city slickers
