We have been going into the Ripple Rock trail for over 20 years. It is now much easer with steps and bridges. We used to crawl up rock faces and wade through water. Now it is a much easer hike. Take a sandwich and water....More

This hike takes a while to complete and includes some scrambling up rocks - but the view at the end is worth it. Remember to take water - and a snack.

About 4k trail very rough in sections takes you to the view of the narrows, a great place to see cruse ships go by if you time it rite. Not many do but I have swam in the little bay just befor the view point...More

leave nothing of value visible in your vehicle at the parking lot..this trailhead is a few kms north of Campbell River on the road to Port Hardy and Sayward and has been subject to thefts from vehicles .The trail is known to have deer ticks...More

The parking lot for the trail comes up quickly and only a small sign so have to watch for it. We are middle aged weekend hikers and it took us 1 & 1/2 hours to get to the lookout. A beautiful view, totally worth it....More

A good hike but mostly forest, some viewpoints along the way. Good with dogs, last part is steep but manageable.
