This is an adventure ! We took the Mail plane to the remote places north of Vancouver Island. The pilote "Bill" offered us a smooth ride on this seaplane, not the youngest, but very classic (like in the cartoon of Tintin) and very well maintained...More

This tour was fabulous in every aspect. The views you get, you will never get in any other way. We were checked in by the office staff after which we were shown were the flight would go to. Then, after a short wait, we met...More

Laura was great, made sure everyone was comfortable. Super scenic route, Surge Narrows, Stuart Island, Refuge Cove, places we would never otherwise have seen. Well worth the money, and another "Tick" off the Bucket List! Watch for whales!

An otherwise interesting mail flight on the Beaver was marred by the fact that our pilot did not provide us with any hearing protection. The noise level inside the aircraft bordered on painful. When I emailed the operations manager to complain, he told me that...More

This was a beautiful scenic flight however, from the description, I was looking for more of an informative, educational experience. In reality, you mostly deliver the mail to uber-rich Americans who have bought up property on remote(ish) islands. I wasn't exactly looking to see how...More

Negative: pricey (~$200 Cdn pp); weather-dependent; slightly awkward entering and departing seaplane; not much information about where you're going and what folk do there. Positive: unparalleled views of the coastal islands and surrounding waters; brief walks through odd/funky settlements; your travel companions will likely be...More

My husband is a bit of an aviation "nut", so when planning our trip I searched for flying experiences and stumbled across the Corilair Mail Flights operating out of Campbell River. We joined four other passengers on a lovely sunny day for our flight. Our...More

This was a great experience. We live in Victoria, BC but this was an opportunity to see a part of the Island that can only be appreciated by float plane. From the helpful guy at check-in, who showed us which islands we would be visiting...More

I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. Flying in a DHC-2 Beaver from the 1950s is a great experience. With several stop everyone has a chance to sit up front and enjoy the views of the islands. Made my holiday.
