No trip to Campbell River is complete without snorkeling with the salmon. The shallow rapids sections are very exciting, everything looks slightly closer than it really is so you keep thinking you're going to slam into rocks that you glide right over. Seeing the big salmon powering through the current is amazing. The guides are fantastic. I initially thought the... More

Daughter, granddaughter and I were very excited to snorkel down the river and view live salmon swimming in their habitat. Jamie and his crew were superb guides and kept us safe for the entire excursion. Jamie shared a lot of information about the flora and fauna of the area and he even had a few one-liners that got us laughing... More

We began our excursion with a "little" jump from a rock. Whoua the water is cold around 12 degrees. Then you swim with many salmons and it's really great We were on our own and the guide was very nice and talkative. We swam nearly to the end before the cold watched us. It was really a nice morning out.... More

My husband & I were delighted to both be able to take part in this together (I am a C 6-7 quadriplegic who uses a power wheelchaiŕ). Operator, Jamie, went out of his way to make us comfortable, safe & welcome. I worried about the temperature of cold river water but with the knowledge & experience of this company I... More

Jamie and his crew were outstanding guides! Their knowledge on the history of the Campbell River area, water system and fishing was very impressive. Snorkelling with large schools of salmon and trout; body surfing little rapids and starting our tour with a small cliff jump were all amazing experience we will not forget. We certainly will be back!!! Thank you... More

It was a very cool trip using the rafts to get to the pools and rapids where the salmon and trout hung out. The crew was very kind as well and enthusiastic, telling and showing us all about the environment and it's history. Definitely recommend taking this trip!

We did the snorkelling trip which is just fantastic. Rafting down the river alone would be awesome, snorkelling with hundreds of salmon amazing but the high point has to be to have a seal swim about 5 feet underneath me. To share a moment with a wild seal is something to remember for a lifetime.

I love being in water. This experience involved the choice of floating through Rapids. I felt 100% confident in our guide and did the Rapids, it was the best part of the experience, pushing of the rocks was easy and I enjoyed an even closer look at the salmon. My husband is not as comfortable in water and spent most... More

In summer we went swimming with the salmon in Campbell River. Right from the start these guys were brill. They supply all the gear to keep you warm, buoyant and safe. The guide was a real character, he briefed us with strong leadership and humour, and repeated things regularly to ensure that it all sunk in (so we would not... More

We enjoyed the snorkelling tour very much. Gear was good and guide Andy was a joy. The possible risks were explained very good and afterwards the rafting, snorkelling and swimming was very good. It was amazing to see so many salmon. Fortunately they swim around you so you don't "bump" into those thousands of salmon hurrying to go to their... More
