I love being in water. This experience involved the choice of floating through Rapids. I felt 100% confident in our guide and did the Rapids, it was the best part of the experience, pushing of the rocks was easy and I enjoyed an even closer look at the salmon. My husband is not as comfortable in water and spent most... More

In summer we went swimming with the salmon in Campbell River. Right from the start these guys were brill. They supply all the gear to keep you warm, buoyant and safe. The guide was a real character, he briefed us with strong leadership and humour, and repeated things regularly to ensure that it all sunk in (so we would not... More

We enjoyed the snorkelling tour very much. Gear was good and guide Andy was a joy. The possible risks were explained very good and afterwards the rafting, snorkelling and swimming was very good. It was amazing to see so many salmon. Fortunately they swim around you so you don't "bump" into those thousands of salmon hurrying to go to their... More

We did the Salmon Snorkling tour. What an experience. Great to snorkel in between thousends of Salmons. The set-up of Destiny is very well organised. We were welcomed, got our kit in a way that prevents any mistakes later on in the tour and moved to the starting point. Although somewhat apprehensive about the watertemperature this was not an issue... More

What a great, rather unique, experience snorkelling with salmon! Being a bit of a cowardly custard, I was a little apprehensive, but there was really no need. The salmon were amazing and as we were taken downstream by the strong currents, including through a very small rapid, it was amusing to see all the fishermen on the river bank failing... More

We went out with Andy, who was great and very knowledgable. He took us in the raft over some grade 2 rapids, after which, we begun snorkelling. There were what seemed like thousands of salmon!! You just swam right into them and they dispersed around you. The river was silver with fish! All in all, you snorkel almost 4km down... More

Jamie and Andy were great tour guides on the day and made sure we were having an awesome trip. Despite the cold and rain, it was a really great experience snorkelling with the salmon. They were everywhere! Some were huge and it was so cool to be in the river with them! Plus an additional bonus to the trip was... More

Had a brilliant Snorkelling with Salmon Trip on the 17th August. Jamie was brilliant with our 2 five year olds, who thoroughly enjoyed themselves jumping into the river and watching the Salmon. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Fantastic tour with great guides. It's most definitely worth it. You see a abundance of salmon and other wildlife. Luckily we saw some seals at the end which was the cherry on the icing. The wetsuits provide sufficient protection from the cold water.

Wow what an experience that was. We were not sure what our trip would entail but wow it surpassed our expectations. Jamie was superb and so informative and clearly passionate about his job and the river. We spent a few hours floating downstream on our tummies amongst the trout and salmon and it was truly amazing. My seven year old... More
