A stunningly beautiful golf course with lots of water and hazards. Your first round could cost you a lot of balls as the hazards are hard to see around the many blind corners. We were told the pace of play would be fast given there were members ahead of us. Sadly we waited at every tee box for the group(s) in front to move on. Why? There were 5 players two groups ahead of us and not a players assistant in sight. Groups were starting to pile up behind us. We paid $119 each (not including cart) for a 5 hour round. Get your members under control or don't sell tee times to the public would be my suggestions to the operators.

There is something wrong with the management of the course pace of play at Storey Creek and it needs to be addressed. I was part of a group on Saturday that teed off at 2pm and at 6pm after just 12 holes we gave up and drove in. The pace of play was so awful I cannot recommend this course to anyone. The Marshall simply acknowledged that the course was full but the course will lose revenue if it does not do more proactively to work with players to pick up the pace of play (whether by increased spacing, insisting on times to play holes or stronger advice on which tees to play)

After a previous cancellation due to weather, we finally got to use an auction bid coupon four a foursome on a beautiful sunny day. The course was certainly uniquely different in layout and setting from most of the Island courses that I have played. The parklike environment without any residential housing and vehicle traffic noise was to be enjoyed. The visibility of some wild life, deers and birds added to the pleasure of golfing. The course was challenging but not intimidating as long as one kept the ball in play in the fairway, otherwise it's looking for wayward balls or a donation and moving on. Everyone in the foursome loved the course and would like to return and play it again. We did not have time to visit the Club restaurant, which we hope to do so the next time.

Great course, lots of privacy, great layout and lined with trees. The clubhouse is nice but the patio is where I usually like to enjoy an afternoon frosty.

Challenging, beautiful, fast greens. Fairly priced for a gorgeous 18. My dad and I have gone several times over the years, and will continue to go.

This is such a nice course. It's not in the best shape of all the courses I've played this summer but it's still quite good. The fairways show the difficulty of the unseasonably hot summer we've had. The greens are perfect.
I've played easily 12-15 different courses on the Island and this is always my favorite. Add to the golf the super-friendly people in the restaurant and Storey Creek is a win.

Unquestionably the best maintained and managed course on Vancouver Island. A real challenge yet somehow very player friendly. The most beautiful natural setting in the North west.

I love this golf course. I have played it many times when I am in Campbell River and always enjoy the scenic beauty of the woodland surrounded course. Each hole seem like it is in a world of its own with no view of the previous or next hole making you feel like you are playing in isolation. I don't considered this an easy course but them my golf is not "up to par" either. If you're a golfer - don't pass this one up.

I can't imagine playing any other course after being at Storey Creek. It is a must for anyone golfer going to the north part of Vancouver Island. It keeps getting better every year an outstanding course kept in immaculate condition every time there.
