I've just played the course second time. First time I played it about 3 years ago in the very strong wind. The course matured a lot in the mean time. It's in the excellent shape. The staff is very friendly and the price (I played it Sunday afternoon) is affordable and in my opinion the player is getting good value... More

This course is in the mountains between Kimberly and Cranbrook. A power cart is necessary as there are lots changes in elevation and distance between holes. GPS and water are provided on the carts. Challenging course and we would love to play it again.

I played this course the day it open. This experienced was terrible. Since then I have played Shadow Mountain twice more. Both times were a disastrous. BUT yesterday, was a new day. The course was in great shape. The inside and outside staff were really friendly and helpful. Gone are the days with rakes only on the carts. In short,... More

A beautiful golf course that is perfectly groomed; a clubhouse and pro shop that is staffed by friendly, helpful people, and a kitchen that just happens to whip up the best breakfast in the Kootenays. We golfed in a 20 person group that was held up due to a frost delay and the Manager (forget his name but, he is... More

If you are going to golf only one course in Cranbrook area, golf this one. The layout is spectacular. The tee shots on 15 and 17 are cliff shots - very cool. Very tough golf course, and very long - 7,400 yards from the tips. Much more enjoyable if you play up from the red or white tees. Super tough... More

One of my favourite places to golf in the East Kootneys! Love the area and its very peaceful. The clubhouse restaurant also offer a good selection with great food.

Title kind of says it all. We have been golfing the valley for years and it is loaded with great courses. Love St. Eugene's Mission and Wellstone and was excited to try Shadow Mountain. I have no complaints about the course -great shape and most interesting in town! Service? Not so much. What course has no online booking? Twice emailed... More

So much fun to play if you play it smart. Stay away from trouble areas. Play again that day or the next and your green fees are lower. Good food at clubhouse. Very accommodating staff

Very friendly staff, started with reservation, let me know that the greens had been punched as part of the annual course maintenance. Spectacular holes at 15 and 17.Could be hidden gem in the south of the valley
