The course is in need of some routine maintenance. Lots of sand traps are in need of sand to hide all the weeds. This could be a top end course. Trickle, Wildstone, Bootleg are in way better shape.

This was an amazing golf course for the price (mid-week). As hilly a golf course as I have ever played with spectacular views. Definitely made for those who can hit the ball straight but the experience is well-worth a few (okay, many) lost balls.

The facility was nice upon entry. We rolled into town later than expected due to an accident and they accommodated us by pushing back our tee time twice which was very helpful. The course itself isn't overly long, which helped my wife who is a...More

I am an average golfer who found this course extremely difficult. Sand traps everywhere made this course very challenging and extremely frustrating. The greens were comparatively slow and made scoring well difficult. Course design was a little strange. Many blind shots on this course. Staff...More

This is a beautiful and well maintained course. It is a mountain course with lots of elevational changes and many awkward lies. All of which contribute to the challenges of the day. Most holes are reachable in regulation. In fact some are so short that...More

A great track in the Kootenays, but bring your A-game! The course will reward patience and punish if you try to overpower it ... because that's not happening!! It was in fantastic shape in early July 2019, and has wonderful vistas, quick greens, and LOTS...More

Greed is in play at this course! Even though it was thundering, lightening and pouring and our safety was at risk the manager refused to do anything for us... no raincheck, no refund. Shame on you Shadow Mountain management. We could have recommended you to...More

Wonderful golf course with a great variety of holes. Drastic changes in elevation to keep you forever thinking about your next shot.

Two couples on a golf trip. We golfed a lot of courses in Montana and British Columbia. Shadow Mountain was by far the best. All the staff were exceptional. The Course Marshall went out of his way to give us information about the course and...More
