My boyfriend and I have been to this visitor center several times and each time we have been greeted by friendly staff. This visitor center has a lovely garden where we sit and eat lunch in the sun. They offer a free beverage; a glass...More
The Visitor Center that was situated on the highway was shut down permanently and it directed us here. Wonder why it got shut down! We used to visit there....
Although this one got shut down, it was newer and bigger, the direction brought us to...More
I would imagine they get tired of repeating the same info to everyone that stops by, but the girl was very friendly and helpful with us. We were given a couple of maps and brochures that we used to explore around for the amount of...More

We treat everyone well. Thanks for your review. Everyone responds differently as you can imagine so that keeps things exciting. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to have you by again
This beautifully preserved trip to the early 1900's is worth visiting. We spent more than an hour here as the young man who escorted us had interesting historical tidbits to share. The gracious ladies in the front parlour and gift shop also plied us with...More
Had time to kill on a Sunday afternoon, as you can imagine, not much to do. Google search revealed this is open every day!!! Walked in was offered a cool drink and a tour. ...I sized the young guy up and thought it wasn't going...More
Very Very helpful. Given a coffee and made to feel very welcome on entering. Quirky place to visit, cross between an antique store and museum. Really would have liked longer time to look at everything.
The people volunteering here are great, friendly and lots of help. We have collected some of their seeds in the past. Each visit has been a welcome treat - hot pull up a seat under the shade and have a visit
Friendly staff that know a lot about the area. The property itself is a heritage building with an interesting history. Go downstairs to check out the vintage books and (very reasonably priced) on going yardsale. Many community gatherings here, place outside for eating lunch.
