Overview
More
Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park straddles the scenic Little Qualicum River, west of Parksville, where impressive waterfalls cascade and plummet down a rocky gorge in a beautiful forest setting. Perhaps the most magnificent park on Vancouver Island, Little Qualicum Falls incorporates the entire southern shore of Cameron Lake, adjacent to MacMillan Provincial Park and the awesome Cathedral Grove Rainforest. Cameron Lake is bordered by steep mountains: Mt. Wesley to the north and Mt. Arrowsmith to the south.

A little hard to walk, (for me) but so tranquil and great forested area. The falls are wonderful. A good place to visit.

These falls are beautiful to see and make for a short day trip. The trails are easy and not long so are quite child friendly. Pack a lunch and sit by the amazing falls and take in the breathtaking views of these falls. You won't...More

The falls themselves are quite nice. The signs leading to and from falls are useless! They all have the "You are here" and then no mark as to where you are!!! Come on, really??? That's pretty lame even for government workers LOL 😀. My wife...More

The Park is easy to access off the highway and has good parking but can be challenging in the Summer. Trails are designed to take you up and down both sides of the river and you walk through some good forest areas with lots of...More

This is a good place to stop & take a break on your trip to Pacific Rim National Park. Easy access off the Highway. Intermediate hike to the falls. Which are awesome. Would also be good place to picnic.

This was a great short walk to the lower falls. Lots of stairs. Gets cold under tree canopy but lower falls were lovely. Toilets by the car park are only open 'during season'. We're not open today.

First time at the site to have a new experience. Found the walk very interesting and the scenery awesome, especially with the higher waterflow through the falls.

Beautiful park with a great hike around the falls. Be sure to bring your camera! Views are spectacular. You tend to hike pretty slowly as you are looking at the falls from many different angles. It is a fun day!

Great place to go for a walk in the forest. Nicely groomed trails and breathtaking view of the waterfalls, particularly at this time of the year. A fantastic camping site as well, used both by locals and travelers. Nice playground for the kids, and safe...More
