Not the best museum by far but not the worst way to spend a rainy afternoon. A little bit dated but still somewhat educational. And the markets that are held there are pretty cool.

We called in to the museum as we were passing on foot. Spent a couple of hours looking through the various exhibits, interesting information regarding the history of the surrounding area. School and the McMillan House of 1885 were particularly good.

We visited on the Canada Day long week-end and the mueum was very quiet. The exhibits were interesting and the videos of the surrounding areas very informative. They could improve the write ups of the various impliments on exhibit which were unfamiliar to this non-farmer....More
