Was there for an afternoon. I was not impressed at all by the beach or the park. It might be good for young kids because the water is shallow. But the sand is muddy, we were coming from Tofino so maybe that would explained. Will not come back.

My kids LOVED the large playground and toddler water park here. (Even my 11-year-old, who had fun climbing some of the bigger structures and on the zipline.) The beach was beautiful. People were flying kites on the large grassy field. And the icing on the cake was the chance to see the world-famous sand sculptors in action. Oh, and the... More

My family was very impressed with this park. There is a splash pad, lots of playground equipment, a fitness area, sand volleyball courts, food trucks, drinking fountains (even for your pets), and large clean bathrooms that even have changing areas. It's right on the beach and boardwalk. The beach is wonderful. The water is warm. When the tide is low... More

Lovely seaside park with beach and boardwalk and grassy areas for Picnics etc. Sports fields, lots of parking, even has a Curling Club. Two food trucks were there as well.Right of the main road.

Parking can be a hassle on busy days, but the walk is worth it. The star attraction of Parksville by far. Stay away from the skatepark for it is overrun with locals who have no regard for human life. Stick to the boardwalk for a wonderful experience anytime of day. 10/10 would recommend for sunsets with a certain someone, just... More

This is a fantastic park, with a ton of variety. There is a fantastic, huge beach, a boardwalk and a really wonderful playground with lots of climbing equipment and a water park. There are big (shady) trees, picnic tables and benches around the playground and a concession with bathrooms close by.

The area is clean, well maintained and has loads of parking. The beach and boardwalk are all accessible and the whole area feels safe and communal. There are food trucks at various times but the pizza one just smells delicious even when you aren't hungry.

Good time, very open. Lots of room for everyone. Great boardwalk. Only a couple food venders. Only the icecream one takes debt/credit.
