everything else. this is a feature laden city/beachfront park that i come to every year for the sandcastle competition and every year I'm impressed by the quality of this park. The food trucks, the playground/fitness facilities, the sports fields, the quiet picnic places, the boardwalk, the ease of parking, the greenery, the beach. Just beautiful

Our children loved exploring this park, lots of different skill levels there and the equipment is nicely spaced out. Amazing location right by the water.

Parksville Community Park is incredible. Not only is it right off the beach, but it is right beside a really well-built skate park and a splash pad. There's a lot of parking, but it can fill up especially on a hot summer day so it can take a minute to find a spot depending on what time of day you... More

The Boardwalk in Parksville is about 1000 plus or minus, and it's great to walk whatever the season from dawn to dusk. Of course it's busy during the summer months, but there is always space to take a walk. In addition it is wheelchair friendly. At its north end you can even find bags for your dog's waste, so pick... Took a trip to Parksville for the day. Very safe place for children with lots to do for everyone. Fly a kite, try out some of the food fare or play beach volleyball. There is free parking, lots of green spaces and benches for family picnics. There is a very clean safe wide sandy beach. For a small fee we... More

We spent a whole afternoon at the park. The children loved the playground and the waterpark. We simply sat down in the shade, read our books, bought an icecream, donuts and pizza and just relaxed...

We were lucky to be in Parksville during the sand sculpture competition. It was very impressive. The beach is very long and interesting wether on high or low tide. Park benches and picnic tables are plentiful. We also had the good luck to have a young talented musician entertaining us.

You can walk on the wonderful board walk, play on the beach, get great food from the food trucks, let the kids play in the playground ( VERY nice, well maintained and lots of variety, including water activities, and it is free ! ) During the summer there is a sandcastle contest....dont miss it if you are there when it...
