I am so glad my sister and I treated ourselves to close off this wild year on a relaxing note. This was my sisters first time and my 3rd, and we both chose to do the weekday special. Although I have been there before, this was my first experience during COVID so I was anxious to see the changes that had been made. After being gifted a mandatory mask ( they provide them to ensure their cleanliness), we were welcomed into the entrance and offered hot towels for our hands to warm up! Wonderful touch with an added benefit of sterilization! We were greeted and toured by Bri-Anne, who was an absolute treat, full of knowledge and professionalism. We instantly felt more relaxed about the whole process. After enjoying an hour in the Mineral Pool, we were instructed to proceed to the lounge where we await our massages. The chairs were perfectly spaced, yet not minimizing comfort. There is no longer a self-serve station for fruit and beverages, so we were in for a treat when we were offered service and provided pre packaged local snacks as well as a selection of infused spa waters. Heaven! I was greeted by my provider Dorota, who emanated a sense of calm immediately. She took me to the coziest room ( I could even hear the rain outside!). She was extremely professional and provided a whole body massage featuring very unique techniques. I will definitely request her in the future. As if this all wasnt enough - we then were escorted to the Treetop Tapas Lounge on the 3rd floor in our robes. Tables were well spaced for privacy and protection, and all guests were robed so we felt very comfortable. All part of the experience. Our server was phenomenal throughout the 2 hours and deserves mention - her name was Olivia. She was funny, attentive, and persuasive :) . Our favorites of the many dishes were the duck and the coconut shrimp dish - so much that we re-ordered them during the complementary re order. After dessert - we proceeded to check out, and were lucky to have Bri-Anne assist us as our last point of contact. Closing the evening off on a consistent positive note. If you are able to treat yourself or a loved one, I highly recommend doing so. We were to blend the perfect amount of sister bonding time with personal relaxation. A great memory for the both of us.

Very expensive spa experience. I wanted to get a treatment but the price was way over my budget and decided on a dip in the mineral spa and a charcuterie board at the Tapas Bar (still too expensive for what you get). The pool area is very dramatic and stunning but the pool was small and felt like a regular pool, not a mineral pool. The hot tub was about 2 degrees hotter than the pool so it wasn't worth going in the hot tub. The charcuterie board was good - I went for the meat version. Nothing notable. I've been to spas before and the price is way too high for what you get. The customer service team were great - very inviting, friendly and accommodating. They are the highlight of the spa. I would not go back to this spa and I would not recommend this spa.

While I have been to a few spas of all different calibers my husband was a first timer! We stayed at the resort so chose to do the midweek special -grotto, massage and tapas. The pool only had us and one other part my for about 20 mins. The remainder of the time we had the entire grotto to ourselves. Very clean. The relaxation lounge was nice, no loungers but overall ok. Staff were simply perfect!!! Offered water and snacks. Offered service but then left us be. Our massages were excellent. I was shocked at the strength and pressure for non RMT(in a delightful way). The room was clean, the oils and scents were high quality. The tapas was next level. Such a fun dining experience! We left stuffed after the 15 standard options and had no room for more! Staff again were excellent. After I was able to use the shower which was amazing and came with great products. Overall this is not a cheap day but it is an experience worth doing as a couple. We were 5 plus hours all together and felt pampered, safe and well fed the entire time.

I used to really enjoy going to this spa but am so disappointed in how they are handling this covid situation. If you are willing to spend enough for half a spa day you can access the mineral pool but if you are only spending 200.00 for a message well then you can not access it. They say its to follow restrictions. Not sure how spending more means following rules. Kingfisher is following restrictions and everyone with a spa treatment is entitled to a one hour reservation at pool. Seems to me that grotto spa is taking advantage of a bad situation. Disgusting

I've been to this spa many times and the last few visits havent been what I would expect of a spa this caliber. The 60 minute rmt message I had was just ok and felt a bit rushed. The two girlfriends I brought had pedicures and they reported the same feeling. Moreover, when we booked the pedicures on the phone we were told the addition of a wax would be $15 dollars but at checkout it was $30. They are also adding a required %15 gratuity without asking customers first. I dont ever mind tipping but I've never heard of a spa doing this. Our services just werent that wonderful and the customer should have a choice. We werent asked by the checkout ladies how our services were which should also be required of the staff at a spa like this. My girlfriend wasnt informed of the 15% tip already placed on the bill and paid an extra 10$ on the bill believing she was leaving a tip. Last summer, I had a group booking and we had major problems at the checkout. They were disorganized and in the end I had to go back the next day to sort out the payments so they were correct. We decided collectively that we will unfortunately not be back again. It just isnt worth the price of the service anymore. Especially now that someone receiving only 1 service has no access to the spas amenities. I completely understand why during covid but the price should be adjusted to reflect the new experience of the spa which isnt the same.
