We have been taking our kids here, while visiting Parksville, for several years. The mini-golf is always fun with a cartoonish theme. Our kids also really like the bumper cars! Riptide is located right on Parksville's main resort strip (Resort dr) and therefore is within walking distance from all of the resorts located there. The ice cream is good too!... More

Visited mini-golf and played both courses with members of my family. Some of us play (real) golf and some, like me, don't! I assumed I was hopeless but after a few holes, I found I could score well on some of them. Clear, straightforward instructions. Particularly impressed with the lady on the ticket office who was helpful and cheerful at... More

This mini golf course looks fairly new so it is in good condition and there are lots of trees for shade. I personally found the actual holes not as interesting as other mini golf venues I have been to, however the setting is lovely and there are some fun looking vehicles around the entrance for photo ops with the kids.... On Resort Drive and a little off the beaten track, if you are not a local, it is well worth the time to find it. It is just down the road from the entrance to Rathtrevor Beach and campground. Unlike the Paradise Mini Golf, Riptide Lagoon is not on the busy highway and there is shade to keep the summer... More

We came here twice to try both courses. We all had fun and its great for all ages. I saw it got very busy at times but we never felt rushed to finish our holes. The courses are both very clean and in good condition. My kids enjoyed the ice cream very much and they were great value for money....huge... More

In our opinion this place is way better than Paradise mini golf. There is shade to escape the heat, you aren't right near the highway. Plus we like the courses better. As a added bonus my son won a free game on the last hole twice. We make mini golfing on the way to the ferry an annual part of... More

Nice mini golf and ice cream parlour near Rathrover beach and resorts. Closing time of ice cream counter at our surprise varies depending on who is working that night!

It was a clean, well maintained and SUPER fun facility. Not cheesy, at all. Thanks for the couple of hours of good fun, Riptide!

Went and played a round of mini golf with friends. I wish I had listened to them and went to Paradise mini golf instead. Riptide is dirty and looks rundown. The courses had dirt and debris on them. Lots of dead shrubs. Defiantly needs a fresh coat of paint. The men's washroom was absolutely disgusting. The garbage was overflowing, floor... More

I am not a mini golf fan but agreed to take my teens there and was pleased to say it was a lot of fun. There are 2 courses to choose from- lagoon or mountain. We chose lagoon as it was meant to be more Challenging. It proved to be a challenge as well as good fun. The course is... More
