Did this train a few years ago.The trip up to the old saw mill is mostly up hill through nice forested areas with bridges across rivers and a winery. The steam saw mill is flash from the past forestry history. Need a relaxing day trip?...More

This historic train is neat. Nicely narrated and run by a volunteer crew. The conductor grated each family group and answered all our questions. Unfortunately the steam engine was done for the season being on the DL with some blown tubes, but go anyway...a nice...More

Having company from Australia, we decided to visit Mcleans mill for lunch and tour the grounds. Casual walking paths with a guided tour of the old steam powered saw mill, bunk houses, and train. Excellent piece of history preserved and open to the public daily.

I'm a railfan so any train right is a great train ride. The trip up the hill to the mill is a fun ride that displays plenty of scenery and some great neighbors to the railroad. It doesn't go fast but it has a great...More

Nice vintage train ride pulled by a 1942 Diesel engine. Sadly the older Baldwin steam engine is sidelined until engineers approve the two trestles for their weight.

The Steam train is fabulous. The Mill tour is educational and fun. We had a nice lunch at the Mill. The train robbery was so cool. Friendly helpful people from start to finish. Most enjoyable day.

We pre-booked our ride on the steam train for a special September trip to the McLean Mill. Good thing as it was sold-out! Lots of families, some seniors and a large group visiting from Sweden (pets are allowed on the train too). The volunteers were...More

Great to see a bit of history still steaming along. The ride is relatively short, and takes you to the McLean Mill (and back after a few hours), so makes for a nice, relaxed day outing. They mostly run the old logging steam locomotive but...More

Unfortunately we didn't have time to travel on the train due to lack of time, but would very much have liked to. So we just stopped by to see what was at the station. The folks there were delightful. They were very knowledgable, explaining everything...More

We had a fantastic ride today. Scenery is stunning, guide is fun, and I saw a black bear! Well done everyone who volunteer tweets on this. We will be back.

I have not heard the train go by my home. I do know that scheduled maintenance and upgrades were being done. The Thanksgiving weekend, l would expect it to run, although, l do not work for this railway.
