great place to stop. The parking is not good so be careful with the through traffic. There are bathrooms here also. Sometimes you may have to park on the side of the hiway. Otherwise a great experience to see the big trees.

On the way home from a business trip, with an extra 30 minutes to spare, had a peaceful walk through the park and found myself refreshed and in awe of the beauty.

A lovely walk through forest trails with trees hundreds of years old. Very interesting. Beautiful setting for filming a movie. Beautiful green foilage. Very quaint.

A very cool very easy walk and a nice break from the car. Good information along the trail which really helps you appreciate the age and complexity of the rain forest for sure! You gotta stop...

It was a short walk of massive trees with the largest being 800 years old. Easy access in winter snow and ice. Worth the journey.

A place you need to visit. Something the has to be experienced as no words can describe it. A nice get-a-way. A wonderful place like no other. Allow time to walk through it and take in one of the wonders of beautiful British Colombia.

When we were in Port Renfrew a week ago, we hiked the Upper Grove trail at Avatar Grove (40 minutes, 2.5K return, 50m elevation gain). It has a boardwalk, so it's not exactly a wild natural landscape, but Cathedral Grove is a zoo in comparison....More

Beautiful place! Massive trees. The kids loved the trails and it was educational. This is a must-see attraction and there are not many old growth forests like this left

We visit here every time we have visitors and then when we really want to be in awe of nature. Trails are well marked with information about the vegetation, easy walk and wheelchair accessible.

If you're passing this way, you really should stop here as there are some magnificent huge Red Cedar trees and Maple and everything is covered in dangly moss. There is a nice little pathway track accessed on either side of the road. Parking can be...More
