Negatives: Difficult to access without bike or car. Parking lots almost full, not even noon yet. Access to Fraser River blocked off, no reasons given as to why. Narrow trails with cyclists ignoring the "walk bikes" request. Positives: Washrooms. good mapping & brochures. Flat. Good access to Coquitlam River. Access to Traboulay Trail. As there are quite a number of access points to both the Fraser and Coquitlam Rivers, I suggest out-of-towners and others relying on public transit may wish to consider alternatives to this site.

This is a great place to go for a nice walk along the dykes of the Coquitlam river. I went there twice in the last 2 weeks with my sons dog. The first time from the main parking lot by the Indian Reservation and the second from the parking lot by the Lougheed Hwy. The views are very nice with the mountains and the river as your backdrop.the occasional eagle and lots of ducks. The dyke is shared with bike riders somyou need to be aware of them. There are washroom facilities at the main parking lot and none at the Lougheed Hwy parking area.

Last week I just visited my friend who has a plant plot there and got a free organic cucumber and zucchini. And i was biking the whole area before. the park is beautiful and trails are good maintain, a small river is through the whole park and the grass grows well . you can see the port man bridge from the park and it is not too far.the farm is so well planting, even a lot of flowers and all kind of vegetables. and it is easy to watch the humming birds in this season.
