We went in October so the gondi & ski runs were not open. We've heard so much about the skiing here so we had to check it out. Very quaint, beautiful, friendly resort.

The snow is coming down the mountain and at tree line. This facility is becoming a world class skiing destination. Good accommodations at base as well as a pretty good restaurant.

This is the most fun individual roller coaster experience imaginable! The Resort should have Senior rates for this ride, because the experience really gets the old heart a-pumpin'..... My husband, an old guy, went 3 times! Loved it!

Great coaster! Individual cars with breaking mechanism controlled by the rider. Go as fast or slow as you want. The curves are not banked, full speed will make for a rough ride. Ride does not operate in the rain, so check the weather before you...More

This was a return visit and it did not disappoint. We were upgraded to a minisuite with a fully stocked kitchen, heated bathroom floor, 2 TVs. Staff are very friendly and professional.

Haven't been there during summer, but no steep roads up to the hill bottom. Might want to investigate if your heading up the mountain

We spent around $35-40 for a ticket last year, but it was with breakfast buffet with unlimited gondola ride. They will give you a discount if you want to ride the 2nd time on the pipe! ;-)

discount RMR tickets (3 Replies)
Hi Anyone know where we can get discount Revelstoke Mountain Resort lift tickets. I know costco has a card you can buy, but anything or anywhere in town offering deals? We are staying at the days inn and their ski package was nothing to write home about so we didnt go with it. Thanks S

Itinerary Too Aggressive? (22 Replies)
Hello, We are planning a last minute trip to the Canadian Rockies. The details are still coming together (including which activities we will pursue in each town), but I was wondering if in general this itinerary is too aggressive (or if we're budgeting our time in each place inappropriately)? May be able to start the trip a half day earlier, but not to keen on paying for another hotel stay since prices seem to be pretty over the top. Day 1: leave Seattle area in the morning, drive to...More

You pretty much need a full day to drive Banff to Jasper to take in the joys of the parkway. If you can't get accommodation in Jasper your best bet would be to drive to the Athabasca glacier as a turning point and then head back to the Banff area.My own opinion is that a day trip to Jasper would be a bit much. Stay back in the Banff /Lake Louise area making your drive back less.By driving to Revelstoke you would then be driving the Rogers pass ,on your way back you can take the Yoho route...More
