On the way to our next destination, we stopped to visit the Enchanted Forest. From the parking lot, it looked like a medieval castle complete with turrets and banners. After paying our admission, we followed the directional signs that had us weaving in and out of the unique exhibits. From a Mermaid Pond to Mother Hubbard, this magical place has something for every visitor. Wandering along the path through an old growth forest, we enjoyed the many attractions. The “cow jumping over the moon” brought back memories of my childhood. A tall treehouse called for exploration of its many levels. As we strolled along, we caught glimpses of the Sky Trek Adventure Park. After a couple hours of enchantment, we exited through the gift shop and returned to our car to continue with our trip through the Kootenays.

We did not plan enough time to be here and the zip line that’s in the enchanted forest is a separate park with separate admission. So after spending an hour in line we didn’t wait for zip line . If you have teenagers the zip park would be super fun for them as the enchanted forest is more for the young ones . Bring your own luncc and entrance for both is expensive for a family of 3 kids 2 adults .

The kids really enjoyed this attraction. It's a bit outdated looking but the kids didn't care. We got there around 10am and it was already very busy. They had 2 parking lot attendants and they were great getting people safely parked. Because of covid the entrance attendant asked everyone to stay in there groups and keep space. With little kids this was difficult for many families. Some parents were quite rude to other people's kids. It would be much better if this attraction had workers inside the park helping move people along and giving each group fair time to see each area. This was frustrating as a parent. But overall the attraction was fun and a good price. Wish the gift shop had more variety of items that related to the scenes inside the attraction.

A nice attraction to visit when traveling with young kids.
The forest has many fairy-tale-inspired structures/decorations along the trail that young kids (age < 8) can climb/ride.
If you are traveling with older kids, the adjacent Skytrek Adventure Park might be more suitable, with its climbing walls, zip lines, and net bridges.
As someone else commented, the access to the narrow parking lot is a bit tricky if you are coming from Revelstoke, as you have to turn left across the narrow lanes of a busy highway. It is easier to access traveling eastward.
Our kids had a blast at point in our trip when we all needed to stretch our legs.

We love this place from 40 years ago when I first went as a kid to the several times I have been with my kids and grandkids over the years. This is the 2nd year in a row for the grand daughter and she loved it equally the second time as the first. So glad they survived COVID and without neglecting the attraction. This is a family business that clearly cares about their maintenance. Super easy to enjoy and stay distanced from people. Make sure you are a walker as it is on the hill side although not a long alpine mountain climb. I am certain we will be back again.

It looks like a really nice facility from the parking lot.
Too bad I couldn’t get in in as I’m in a wheelchair. They list being wheelchair accessible on their website I think just to get people to come buy tickets.
I wish I would’ve known that prior to unloading my wheelchair shoulders.
They don’t even have Handicap Parking or Wifi from the parking lot.
Don’t go their if your disabilitied.

Always a treat for the kids. We took our two year old and she enjoyed it. I think you can return each year as the experience is different as you grow. Doesn’t matter if it is rainy - perhaps even better with fewer people. And a great value.

Unfortunately it rained like crazy all the time we were there but it was still pretty awesome. Getting inside some of the little houses will be tough if you are too big but we hid in some to get away from the rain. A nice nature walk park at one point in the park, lots of kodak moments! The price is right too.

Super day in the rain, then it stopped.
I visited this place often as a young boy. I think my parents used it as a stop for us kids to burn off some energy.
We stopped today to share some memories but discovered a amazing 2Km Nature walk complete with hills, boardwalk and even the salmon were running.

As an adult, this would not normally be a stop on my list, however I visited as a child with my Grandparents and so it was nostalgic for me. It made me so happy to see that this place is still not only operating, but appears to be thriving. The original figurines (at least I think they are) are still there, but they've definitely added to the park, not to mention SkyTrek which looks super cool. Sometimes when you visit something you saw as a child, it disappoints - this was not the case at the Enchanted Forest.

Amazing job to the owners/operators!
