We had a great time on the Revelstoke Dogsledding Adventure. We opted for the evening tour (5.30pm) and it was so serene being out on the trail in the dark. The guide happily picked us up from the lobby of the hotel, and drove us to where the sledding started. It was very interactive, able to pat the dogs, help harness them up and also take turns to guide the sled standing on the back. The animals were all clearly well loved and looked after. I would happily do it again!

Thanks for a big experience, we came back with big smiles on our faces. The way, they planned this 18 km trip was perfect from the beginning till it ended. The staff was so engaged in making every minute of this trip interesting. They gave a lot of information about the dogs, the trip etc.it was a Big pleasure to experience how much the staff loves the dogs.
They made you feel safe and have fun at the same time. And they engaged you in what it takes going on a trip like this, from putting the harniss on the dogs and to make the dogs feel good. You have the Opportunity to sit in the sled and stand up, what ever you feel comfortable doing. Our guide Gabriel was a perfect guide and we enjoyed every moment. From booking and till we finished.
Big smiles from Christian and Susanne Carugati, from Denmark, on their first dogsledtrip.

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Revelstoke Dogsled Adventures! The staff were friendly and competent. They did a wonderful job of providing a full experience, teaching us about the dogs, allowing us to harness the dogs and interact with them at length, our participation in preparing the sleds and dogs for the run was encouraged (but not expected) and really added to the experience. The dogs themselves were beyond amazing! All of them were so good natured and just loved to run! They all seemed very happy, healthy and well cared for. As soon as they sensed it was go time they were barking and jumping excitedly. Our guide, Sandy was a pleasure to chat with and had a wealth of knowledge about proper care and maintenance of the dog team which was so interesting! The trip itself lasted about 3 hours and when we returned we were treated to some hot chocolate and the dogs were given a bowl of food each as well. This was a very special experience with a great company! Highly recommend!

This will go down in my mind as one of most memorable adventures I have had. Dogsledding in the serenity of night, with the only sounds being the sleigh on the snow and the dogs ahead, was a great choice for me. The dogs' excitement was palpable as they were harnessed up. They were in such good condition, and are clearly very loved. My guide, Sammy, educated me about so much to do with dogsledding, and was willing to discuss life in Canada and his experiences - It felt like I was getting quite an insight into the fulfilment that can be found with a life in the outdoors in Canada. The tour was an appropriate length, and I was able to ride both in the sleigh and at the back. I did NOT feel like I was in token tourist experience. This was a proper experience of dogsledding, in a good outdoor environment. Hot chocolate rounded off the adventure nicely as the dogs were fed on return. They really are beautiful animals. Highly recommend.

My husband and myself were on a road trip across the Rockies and had a stop over in Revelstoke. As it was October and too early to book the dogsledding trip, we booked the kennel tour with Eric. WOW what a treat. Eric gave us the full tour and introduced us to all 31 of his gorgeous friendly sled dogs, including some retirees. We got to cuddle so many dogs and even got to accompany Eric on a puppy walk through the forest. We were both in heaven. We learned all about breeding and training the sled dogs . Eric is so laid back and happy to answer any question, no matter how stupid they must have seemed. His dogs love him to bits and he adores them. If we are ever back this way again in winter we will be back to catch up with Eric and his pack, and take that sled trip. Thank you Eric.

This was an amazing experience! What powerful animals. We were three grown men including our fabulous guide Max and those dogs barked enthusiastically and wagged their tails the entire time. We helped harness and attach the dogs to the line and then it was off on our 3 hour roundtrip journey through beautiful icy scenery.
Max was fun, professional and kept us safe and entertained the entire journey.
We learned a lot about the dogs, racing and about the area.

Double thumbs up for Revelstoke Dogsled Adventures!

Highly recommend! I had a great time seeing a side of the mountain that I would not have gotten to any other way. Revelstoke is beautiful and we were spoiled with a beautiful sunset with the snow, fog, and mountains.

The dogs were friendly and seemed to work together as a team really well.

Plus, you get hot chocolate at the end!

We had an excellent dog sled adventure! As guests we were encouraged to be involved in the fun from start to finish. We helped harness the dogs and could ride in the basket or on the back. We learned all the dogs names and could see how much fun they were having romping in the snow. Our tour guide Krissy was very knowledgeable and taught us about all the behind the scenes care involved in running the operation!

I booked a family sled for me, my husband and 7 y/o child. There was another family of 5 that was apart of the same tour. So there were 4 sleds in total. We were told it was the busiest day of the year. Which I feel might have taken away from the experience just a little bit. I was a little frustrated at first, when we arrived at the staging area my family was geared up and ready to go, but ended up having to wait a good 15 mins for the other family to get ready. It's incredible how excited and loud the dogs are! And as soon as they start running they are silent. Our guide was very friendly and informative (I feel bad I can't remember her name) and definitely added to the experience. Heading back to the staging area our kid was starting to get cold, and it was starting to get dark.
All in all it was a great experience. If we were to ever do it again I would book 2 sleds for our family. Us 3 plus though guide was alot of weight for the dogs and there were some parts of the trail that we were very slow moving.
This was a bucket list activity for me, and I'm glad we did it!

My friend and I went on a Sunday afternoon dog sledding adventure and loved every minute of it. We met at the Revelstoke Visitor Center and took a short trip out of town and got to ride with Thunder in the truck. We got to help harness them up and once the harnesses come out, they start going crazy. Frank, Arrow, Townley, Bow tie, and Thunder were some of our wonderful dogs-they have such cute, quirky personalities and love to run and receive praise. The guides were excellent and answered all our questions and let us take turns mushing. The hot chocolate at the end was very good since it started to get chilly. This is one of the coolest experiences I've ever done-do it, you will not regret it! :) I do recommend reserving a spot in advance-it fills up quickly.
