We were surprised that this beautiful area was not more prominent in the Revelstoke Visitor Guidebook available at the Visitor's Centre. We found it on our second day, quite by accident. Lots of hikes to go on of varying lengths and difficulty and breathtaking views.

Nice drive up the moutain, we got some great views of mist covering parts of valley and the free shuttle to the top is an added bonus we weren't expecting. Did a couple of the short trails as we didn't have much time, it was chucking it down and we were told about the grizzlys in the area! Which has... More

We didn't spend a lot of time on the Meadows due to rain and our schedule. We managed to visit the first 3 visiting point (the shortest driving time). You can see the town from Point A and C. It is a such nice, peaceful and quiet environment. You won't be disappointed

Lovely views. Unfortunately some of the hiking trails were closed due to a grizzly bear in the area, but the couple we did were lovely and well marked.

We drove the Meadows in the Sky Parkway recently on our stay in Revelstoke (see separate review of the national park). The drive starts from just outside the town, and winds 20 or so miles steeply uphill, with plenty of switchbacks to negotiate as you make your way to the top. Along the way, there are several superb viewpoints out... More

We went out on the parkway around 10.30 am with beautifull weather. Everything is so well maintained and the scenery is amazing. On the parking lot we took the free bus to the top and there we did all the short loops and the 1km walk down to the parking lot. There we had a great talk with one of... More

Even though I have lived here all my life, I am still amazed at the incredible scenery in my own backyard! Breathtaking alpine and glacier lakes! About a 5 hour round trip into Miller and Eva lakes.

A Winding 26 kilometre uphill road, took us through the flourishing forests, a few fabulous view points and finally up to Balsam Lake parking area. There was a beautiful park ranger to meet the adventurers. From there we have 2 choices, a short hike up to Heather Lake summit area or take a free shuttle bus. At Heather Lake summit... More
