We enjoy high mountain walking (aka hiking) so this is perfect for us. Easy drive unto nearly 2000m and then some excellent hiking routes. Quite popular of course, but the crowds less as you get away from the parking. We were there on a cloudy day but it did not rain. 9C when we got out of the car (22C... More

Meadows in the Sky This was a pleasant but twisty drive up to the summit. The parking was very limited so I suggest you park in the RV parking lot. Then catch the shuttle up to the lookout and start the short hikes. In summer there was still some snow present. The views of the valley are just spectacular and... More

We went up early morning on a beautifully sunny day. This turned out to be a wise plan because we secured parking in the actual parking lot. Although we had intended to hike the trail that starts not far from the gate house, bear warnings resulted in a pass and we continued on up the winding road. Parking is no... More

We drove up and saw some amazing scenery of Revelstoke and the Rogers and Eagle Pass. The flora and fauna was spectacular especially when the sun came out. The park is well maintained thanks in part to the wardens there. We got to view the town from up above the clouds and also see both Rogers and Eagle Pass. We... More

The views are amazing, hikes for all ages and abilities, so worth the winding drive up. Would recommend the short hike up to the fire house summit, then down to the ridge where the view off the lookout is incredible. Can be an hour adventure or an all day trek. So worth the drive.

This is in Revelstoke National Park. You must pay to get in but it is well worth it. Only about $7.00 per adult for a day pass. You drive 26 km up the mountain. Many viewpoints. When you get to the top you can do various trails around the mountain. Gorgeous scenery.

We saw bear and deer as we wound our way up this beautiful drive to a summit of Mt Revelstoke. Once there, we took trails or a shuttle above the tree line to other locations to view interpretive plaques representing forestry work, David Thompson's achievements and aboriginal markers. You be surprised to see snow, so layer up. Take your time,... More

Visibility was good and we wanted to buy a Park Pass, so headed up Meadows skyway after arriving in Revelstoke. No one on gate (so bought pass the next day), but able to drive to top car park then walk up the road for approx 20minutes to the summit car park and then the nearby (100m) summit itself. Great views.... More

A beautiful 26K drive that takes you through alpine meadows with spectacular views and opportunities to stop and hike quiet less traveled trails. The drive takes you to the top of the mountain where there a series of both short and long hike trailheads.

We drove to the top and took the bus shuttle the rest of the way. Some flowers in bloom, in a week it should be really spectacular. Ranger was very helpful. The views of the mountains were lovely.
