Did u know there is a 1000 miles of shoreline on Big Shuswap? Perfect lake for boating, swimming & fishing. The water is warm & mostly calm but beware when the wind picks up & it looks like a storm get off the lake or hang out in a sheltered bay ! Come check it out you won't be disappointed!

This was our first time in the North Shuswap. It is a very beautiful earthy, and casual area. The lake was breathtaking and the big sky was fabulous. We were looking forward to a relaxing and fun time with our grown children and my sister in law with her husband and two young boys. We had the pleasure of supporting... More

It was a bit crowded and noisy but otherwise a pleasant atmosphere. A bit above average. Service was slow but it was crowded. I had seafood variiety which was good.

Every May-June Shuswap Lake reaches high water level for the year. With this brings many migratory birds to the bay and the Marine Park is a terrific place to observe this fascinating variety of wildlife.

Most beautiful place to live. I had to move away because of the economy and love coming here for a visit. Only problem is it's always hard to leave!!

Salmon Arm is home base but we drive to many places on the lake: Sicamous, Blind Bay, Sorrento, Scotch Creek, Celista. We... More
