Six days was not long enough for our group of five on a Waterway Houseboat. During the eight months I had to plan our adventure, which involved flying people from half-way across the world for a surprise 75th birthday, the staff were helpful & friendly whenever I phoned to ask questions. The trip around the Shuswaps was nothing short of... More

The views from the wooden dock is spectacular, be it morning, afternoon or evening. The walk around the lake trails is very calming.

It was a nice visit there seeing some friends as well, but there are alot of wierd weird folks there as well, kinda creepy. But the place is nice to visit but only in summer time. Rest of time is a boring town.

You can live in the area for years and still have a hard time seeing the entire shore line of the Shuswap. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and beaches, Shuswap lake is a great place to take the family and friends!

How lucky are we to discover this amazing lake with fun for all ages from houseboat rentals, to water skiing, paddle boarding, wave riding etc. The beaches are great with safe swimming areas in Blind Bay and all through the Arms.

My partner and I spent an afternoon kayaking on the lake with kayak rentals from Shuswap Marina at Blind Bay. The lake is huge, but this was a great spot for kayaking as Copper Island was about 45-60mins off shore and the bay was nice and quiet. We also drove around the lake during our few days there and saw... More

Views, wildlife, birding, park access, music on wednesdays. It is the most photographed spot in Salmon Arm. Swimming in Canoe Beach is best. No beach access of marine park drive.

Every Wednesday during July and August they have live music in the park. Bring a lawn chair visit with friends and it's buy donation and they come around if you feel inclined to do so
