The Shuswap Lake region is beautiful, peaceful ... warm water, breath-taking views, friendly small towns ...I have no idea why people leave the country for tropical beaches when we have this gem right here! I am now considering relocating here after spending a number of visits here,,,

We have lived hear and nearby Scotch Creek for over 20 years and just love it. There are many activities around the Shuswap, and the scenery is outstanding. Like someone else has mentioned.. can't imagine living anywhere else..

The Shuswap is a beautiful holiday destination with 1,000 miles of shoreline. There are beaches, houseboats, Sea-Doo's, camping, hiking & more. Salmon Arm is within a 1 hour drive from larger centres if you want that. We are locals & can't imagine living anywhere else. People are friendly, lots of interesting things to do & see here.

Shuswap lake is a great place for a family vacation. We rented a houseboat for the weekend - which is fairly affordable when you share with others. Most houseboats also have a hot-tub. The beaches are great, and the water is perfect for swimming. Definitely bring a camera and swim clothes!

Shuswap lake is beautiful. Nice for swimming at Canoe Beach, or Herald's Park, which is also a great camping spot, but you have to reserve if you hope to get in for July and August. Boating is common on the lake, very picturesque, iand several arms of the lake mke it very popular. Another thing Shuswap Lake is known for... More

If you share the cost renting a house boat on Shuswap Lake is affordable and fun. Flexible schedules, decent rental companies, and incredible mountains beaches and wildlife. Boats sleep lots of people and we took our children one year. Do it.

What a great place to wander and watch the bird life. Well kept with lovely gardens, good parking and the pier is wonderful to walk along.

A gem of the area is Shuswap Lake. It's large with lots of areas to explore. Areas for boats to park with sandy beaches and clean, warm water. Or if you don't have a boat, there a still lots of areas that can be accessed by a car with lovely parks with green spaces (picnic areas) and beaches. There are... More

The Shuswap Lake is a wonderful place to go and enjoy the Lake. Golf is great especially Talking Rock Golf Course. One surprise is the great wineries. Especially Celista Wines in Celista BC

Shuswap Lake is such a gem! Boating, waterskiing, beaches, floating bars and restaurants, treehouse accommodations, camping, cliff jumping....it is a huge playground! If you are in the Shuswap region, you must spend at least one day here. Get to either Salmon Arm or Sicamous and get on a boat! *Please note this listing is incorrect as this lake is NOT... More
