Review of: 3 Hour Whale Watching Tour
Awesome time! Our driver Tommy did an awesome job getting us some views of the whales, and also a great job of giving us facts about them as well! As well as providing us some of the local history of the indigenous people who used the islands for 10,000s of years. Although the crew were friendly and professional being unable to reserve for the return trip after visiting Sidney Spit/Island is very problematic! We took the 11:30am ferry to the island and wanted to return on the 2:30pm ferry. We were able to reserve to go to the island but were not allowed to reserve to come back. We were advised that because of heavy traffic we should line up to come back at least 3/4 of an hour before departure. If we did not get on that ferry we then had to wait until the last ferry at 4:30pm. If all the visitors to the island waited for the last ferry of the day how does everyone get home & this is an inconvenience if you have made future plans for the rest of the day. As residents of Sidney that like to take visitors to the island we will not be going again until we can reserve to come back. This policy made our visit for that day a real disappointment!…
