My Mother & I did our second annual Mother Daughter trip to Victoria BC with BC Ferries Vacations. Everything from start to finish was wonderful. Right from the time of booking until the time we returned, everything went smoothly. Our Hotel was Chateau Victoria right in the heart of downtown Victoria. We highly recommend both BC Ferries Vacations & Chateau... More

It is necessary to have a link to the mainland if you have a car. It is a nice trip across, and Orcas and Seals can often be seen along the way.

Really enjoyed the ferry from Vancouver to Victoria. Didn't want to get off the ferry so soon. Great food options and breathtaking views. Loved it!

Travelled to and from the Mailand to Vancouver Island , it was before and after the May long weekend so we were anticipating it to be very busy , both directions we had to wait one sailing, but considering the traffic I thought the Ferries did an excellent job of staying pretty much on time. On board the staff were... More

Other than the fact that it's the only show in town for passenger and vehicle service from Vancouver to the Island, BC ferries is mostly efficient and a very pleasant ride from Vancouver to Nanaimo. Much more punctual than. They used to be, passable but expensive food and an interesting and well stocked newsstand and gift shop. Washrooms are con... More

The BC ferry system is excellent. We travelled from Tawassin to Sydney for a week in Victoria, and back again. We also travelled to Salt Spring Island and back. The ferries are clean and comfortable. There is lots of seating room. The large ferries having several eating areas, as well as a gift shop.

Booking and checking baggage was very easy , cost for the trip is very reasonable . Comfortable seating and good food from quick serve to full meals. The ferry is slow enough to enjoy The scenery .

I love taking the BC Ferry through all islands and the new ones are much better than than the older ferry's if you have a choice. I always reserve to get on when I want and really enjoy the buffet on the new ones. There is lots of places to sit away from the play areas or around depending on... More

Living on an island you rely on the BC Ferry to get you on and off the island. Remarkable service on time. Pleasant travelling inside or out. The Buffett makes the voyage seem more like a cruise. Wonderful gift shop, play areas for small children and quiet work areas too. The Captain will point out whales if spotted during the... More

I take pride in my city and province. It embarrasses me when people come from out of town and see bathrooms that are more gross than a hole in the wall gas station. You often see workers checking the washrooms but not cleaning them. The ladies room is bad but my husband says the men's is way worse! It's a... More

Dear missc587, Thank you for your review. Our crew works hard to provide a clean and welcoming environment on board our vessels and at our terminals. Though we regularly clean and maintain our passenger areas, due to the high volume of traffic, areas can become dirtied shortly after a staff member has attended to it. If you notice an area...
