Facilities and personnel at Nanaimo are courteous and friendly, even with a manned free water stand! Ship has elevators to boat deck, comfortable seats, good food and large viewing ports. Altogether a convenient and enjoyable trip.

There wasn't enough seating. Cafeteria was dirty and the staff was standing around doing nothing when they should have been cleaning. Not impressed!

Arrive at least one hour early for the ferry you want to get on and there is usually no problem getting that ferry. During a long weekend, if you arrive at least an hour early you may have one ferry wait which isn't an issue... More
