Myself and two friends signed up for the Spearhead Hut Overnight Trip on February 14-16 and it was an experience I'll never forget! As advanced skiers/snowboarders on resort, we would consider ourselves "intermediate" tourers as we have all the gear but don't get out a ton in the season. We really wanted to go to the hut but felt nervous in our navigation skills to get there, and wanted to experience some great riding once we were out there so this trip fit the bill perfectly. All food was provided and it was plentiful and delicious - definitely didn't go hungry! It was supplied the morning we met up and we all divided it up among our packs. Everything else we had to bring was listed in a packing list sent to us via email, but given the hut's amenities it wasn't a massive bag we had to pack. We really lucked out with incredible weather, an amazing group of like-minded and similar-aged people, and an awesome guide - Robert! We had the best three days with lots of smiles, some type-2 fun moments, fresh lines, good food, learning opportunities, and comfy digs. It's SO worth getting a guide to explore the area out there - there's so much terrain to explore and a guide can really help navigate the conditions if things are spicy. I can't wait to plan my next trip into the backcountry with Altus/Robert!

My daughter and I selected Altus for our first time ever outdoor rock climbing adventure. We did a 4 hour guided rock climbing experience. Our guide Brett was amazing. This was one of the best guided experienced I have ever done all thanks to Brett and the world class rock climbing in Squamish.

Headed out into the backcountry on a females only splitboard weekend with Christine Feleki - the most rad and inspirational mountain guide around. Altus provide an incredible service, speedy email responses, comprehensive information to make your trip smooth and they will bend over backwards to accommodate your specific needs and aims. Christine created an incredible 2 days in the Blackcomb backcountry - tailored to my skills and energy. I felt 100% safe and in the hands of a total expert whilst enjoying some huge skiing with the ease and approachability of what felt like one of my best pals. 10 stars Altus - you’ve got great taste in your mountain guides 🙌🏽 If you’re reading this and haven’t already booked in - what are you waiting for!

We stayed in Whistler for a month and this guided touring trip was the best thing we did! We booked a full day group tour. On their website it says the group will be at leat three people so we expected to be part of a group. When we got to the meeting place, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that it was just me, my boyfriend and our guide. They asked us for level an expectations, and decided which spot to go to based on that. Also, my boyfriend is quite alot better than me, and our guide managed to find spots that suited both our levels, e.g. by going down different sides of a bowl. We felt cared for and safe the whole time and loves the whole day! It defenitely helped having a clear sunny sky and fresh dump too!

My 14 year old went on a day long private climbing lesson with Tucker. Tucker was an outstanding guide and my daughter learned tons, "her best climbing day ever!". Tucker sent us amazing photos (scary from a parent pov). The customer service was fantastic they were able to arrange pic up and drop off at our hotel and provided all of the gear. Thanks again Altus!!
