I came on the Skylynx bus headed for the railway museum. The staff in the adventure centre offered me a map and directions. The Garibaldi cafe on the site also helped in replenishing my food stocks.

I was on my way to Whistler to attend UBCM and had been on the road since Hope. I was due for a pee break and somewhere to stretch my legs. As I entered Squamish, I tried to take the main exit into the town centre but could not get the room I needed from traffic not letting me in. I decided to just tough it out and keep going until I noticed the turn-off to the Squamish Adventure Centre. I pulled off, used the washroom, and walked around a bit to get that stretch I needed. After a few minutes, I was back on the road. I was impressed with the building, and even went inside to check it out. Next time I'm in the area, I'll give it a better look, but I sure appreciated it when I needed to pull over. Thanks!

The Squamish Adventure Centre offers you the opportunity to experience all that Squamish and the Howe Sound has to offer. From trail rides on horseback to rafting, fishing, cycling, rock climbing, kite surfing and so much more. View nature, wildlife and the region in ways you would never have known about without the information and services at the Adventure Centre.

What a great place to stop by to get information on hikes and other attractions. Staff are friendly and wonderful. And the surprise is the wonderful shop with quirky souvenirs, free museum giving info on wildlife and the area as well as the cozy coffee shop. And don’t forget the cool architecture of the whole place.

My son was running in a trail race so we had our 5 year old grand daughter. we thought she might like to go there, but decided that it didn't cater for that age.
However we went into the gift shop to get a present for Mommy and she picked up a few items. The person at the counter came over and said to her "Thats enough" and took them out of her hand. We were supervising her and she was gentle with the items, so there was no need for her to be rude.
Staffing is very important and obviously this person is not right for this area.

I have driven by the Adventure Center many times but never stopped. I was looking for local MTB info and thought this would be a good stop. Sure enough they had trail maps that could be purchased. I also purchased a coffee at the shop inside and enjoyed a rainy afternoon going over my new map and other local info I had picked up. This place is also used for charging computers, iphones and had a mini theater for the kids and adults alike.

This is an information Centre, beautiful building, has great views from every window! The gift shop had very tasteful items for sale with a good price range. Both local artists and First Nation artists. The coffee shop was outstanding. With clean bathrooms. Worth stopping in.

We visit Squamish quite often during the year and first time we always stop at this Adventure Center. Staff is always there, knowledgeable and eager to help us with tips, maps and clear directions to our destinations. They have a small cinema like hall playing videos of touristic points of interest around Squamish, there's also a cafeteria with good selection of coffee, tea, ice cream (gelato) and snacks. Beside is a small souvenir shop with a nice selection of gifts and they have a patio for use in spring and summer time. Location is great and its design is awesome, flowing water all around the Center. Oh, and there is a kids playing corner by the cafeteria, maintained by volunteers, and our toddlers love it!...

This centre is worth a visit - there is a cafe that serves great coffee, a gift shop, bike rentals, and plenty of brochures for local attractions. The cafe and outdoor seating creates enough atmosphere that I actually returned there to relax with a cup of tea later in the day. There is even a tiny theatre that shows a loop of videos on local history / things to do.
