A great mountain lake that warms up in the summer for some fun swimming and hiking. Jump off some of the rocks or bring your own floaty to just chill. It is pretty rustic so not the safest for small kids but you can access...More

I would highly suggest visiting the park early to ensure a parking spot because it becomes pandemonium with impatient and fed up motor vehicles fighting to get in on a scorching long weekend summer day. C’mon...we are all fellow Canadians and should be a bit...More

The surface is so rocky, irregular. Very limited parking spots. We parked 2 km away and walked for 15 min just to struggle to find a slippery rocky area to squeeze in.

We hike the trails at Brohm Lake on a regular basis. The beauty of the place is that you can choose to make the hike as long and as difficult as you like. The views of the surrounding mountain peaks from the higher elevations are...More

Come early on the warm days of summer as the main pRking lot will be full before noon. Lake is clean and refreshing but very limited shore line to set up your beach towels. Be prepared to share the rocky shoreline with the crowds.

Bit of a "locals" secret (compared to well-known Alice Lake). Great for swimming in the summer time. Sometimes the lake freezes over in the winter and it's great for family ice skating.

I understand now what Canadians mean by interpretive forests. It is their interpretation of "steep" and "flat", similar to what they mean by "quite near" and "not so far"... This is not an easy trail for someone with tricky knees but it is beautiful so...More
