Expect and receive service excellence with Fritz and his team at Silver city Stagelines. They keep it running on time like a Swiss watch, which isn’t surprising given where Fritz is from🇨🇭 They will also bend over backwards to add a stop if possible as they did for me. I will certainly be back

Travelling from Toronto area to Nelson BC to visit my daughter. I flew in to Kelowna and there was no reason for me to rent a car. I was happy to find Silver City was offering 4 x times per week travel to and from Nelson
My travel to and from ran on time and was in fact early arriving at both destinations. The bus - actually a 15 passenger van was clean and the voyage was stress free!
Thank you Lucia and Fritz for a job well done !

This is a 5 Star company to deal with and Fritz ( owner/operator) treats his passengers with the best consumer service hands down. I had the opportunity to use Silver City Stagelines this June 2022. Fritz is a very good nice gentleman and an excellent driver and makes sure his passengers are comfortable with the heating or air-conditioning. With my future plans to fly out of Kelowna Airport to visit family in Ontario I will definitely will be relying on Fritz and his Silver City Stagelines. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone! Thank you once again Fritz.

If I could give zero I would. I made a mistake by being at the wrong pick up spot. I would NEVER do this deliberately but I was accused of doing just that. I was basically called a liar by the driver several times in the presence of other passengers who became complicit in his bullying by not saying a word. If it had been any of them I would have stepped up.
I deeply regret holding people up as I understand we all just wanted to get home after being on vacation. I made an honest mistake and this driver shamed and blamed me in the presence of passengers and over speaker phone with his staff which he seems to enjoy. On the way to Kelowna he was on speaker phone complaining and naming a young woman who gave him a poor review. I was uncomfortable with this but thought he may be justified as I wasn’t there. Now after what I experienced I question what really happened. He is abusive! This company and the driver (owner) take no accountability and try to deflect. I made a mistake and I apologized sincerely to the other passengers. I took responsibility even though it was not deliberate. I felt terrible because doing anything like this isn’t even remotely part of my character so to be accused of doing something so thoughtless was hurtful and shocking. I had just traveled 24 hours and had bad news from home the night before. So to be yelled at and called a liar was out of line and completely unprofessional. He kept complaining out loud how now he would be late to home. That is part of the job and in fact, the whole journey was made early. I have been a professional driver myself and when unforeseen things happen you act like an adult and carry on. You don’t have a hissy fit throwing fragile luggage around and making an effort to get the other passengers to be part of his little gang and trying to nasty to me by shunning me. Just a bully. Will never use this service again. I made this clear but the immaturity in this company is evident in that they keep repeating in emails I’m banned from their service after I made it clear I would never use it again. This whole situation needed to be handled differently and if there had been a mature adult behind the wheel we could have just moved on. He has no leadership ability at all and he made a bad situation way worse! His job was to de escalate any negative feelings NOT whip people up. Their job was to recognize what was going on and step up and say something. On my way to Kelowna on my suggestion we dropped a young man off at the airport (out of the way) so he could catch his flight. THST is what cooperation is. That is what compassion and generosity looks like. The passengers on this trip were given NO option to be forgiving and moving on. They became part of the verbal abuse because they needed a ride and were caught up in a power imbalance!

It is unfortunate that you had such a poor travel experience. I am happy to help clarify a few points;
-you must know since you stated you were a former professional driver ; that a driver can only legally log a certain number of hours each day. The service we provide is round trip daily so delays can add up quickly. Our driver had already delayed the departure time by 10 minutes. During this time the driver called the phone number that was provided at the time of booking. There was no answer and a message was left on the voicemail. Our driver had been on the road for an additional 10 minutes when the bus speaker phone rang - although other passengers were in the bus the driver offered to turn the bus around to go back to the designated pick up location which was where you said you were waiting. Upon arrival at the pick up you were not at the agreed upon location and our driver and passengers were already 25 minutes behind schedule. At this point the passengers on the bus were not wanting to continue waiting and the driver was concerned that legally they may run out of hours before making it home to the Kootenays ( we have to also allow for further delays due to weather , accident etc...)
so the bus departed for a second time. At the opposite end of the Mall pick up location our driver saw a person with suitcases and pulled over.
- Additionally when booking you had agreed to the policy ;
" please be sure you understand our pick up times and locations " with a link provided to click on for photos and description to further verify.
- our driver is Swiss and the passenger you are referring to in regards to the airport drop off was also Swiss. The arrangement to take him to the airport was made between the 2 in Swiss dialect. Due to the rock slide earlier in the travel day and the necessary bus's re- routing the driver had personally already confirmed with the passenger very early on in the trip that he would be dropping the passenger at the airport.
- At the completion of the trip in Nelson the remaining travelers reached out to our driver and company to thank us for the service that day and to offer words of encouragement to our driver following the many negative comments from you throughout the travel day.
- At the end of the day we provide a necessary link from the Kootenays to the Okanagan for people travelling by air, for medical/ specialist appointments and for young students. We have numerous positive reviews and it is because of these wonderful reviews , words of thanks and the personal connections we have built with our amazing customers that we have been able to continue to provide this valuable service throughout the difficult times of the pandemic.

I've road with them twice - very reliable service in a province where transportation options are so limited. They are by the book, always on time, and have safe drivers in my experience. Just make sure to read and follow the policies and details - if you do it should be a smooth and low-stress experience.

The trip was smooth and on time. The driver was just amazing, professional and personable.
The only fly in the ointment was the response I got from the office when I asked if my bag, 2” over the allowed height, was okay. The response was no, accompanied by a diatribe as to how allowing my 2” oversized bag would inconvenience other passengers. (How could I even consider that?)
Thank goodness the driver had the common sense to allow my bag, at no inconvenience whatsoever to the other passengers.
To the administrative staff, please up your game. 2”, sight unseen, really ?? Your response was uncalled for and stressed me that my bag would be left behind.

So pleased to find a travel option between Kelowna & Nelson! Very happy Silver City Stagelines provides this valuable service, & at a reasonable price too. Clean vehicle, great driver, adequate stops along the way, & amazingly no extra charge for luggage in the generous rear compartment. Fritz, the owner, drove & what can I say about him? Courteous, friendly, professional, calm, & an excellent driver. Highly recommended!

Always on time, great vehicle and drivers. I needed to get to Kelowna to do some shopping for Christmas but none of my family members were available to give me a lift. Well, except for my family at Silver City Stagelines! Always so friendly, reasonably priced, my brother charges the same amount for gas haha!

I travelled from Nelson to Kelowna on May 8,’23 with Silvercity. Everything was top notch; the van is new and comfortable, Lucy our driver was delightful, the Grand Forks stop was good and the other customers enroute were pleasant. I’ll definitely be a returning customer. A fabulous service!

Excellent service and much needed, linking the West Kootenays And Kelowna. Always friendly and on time. Very comfortable seats; relaxing and takes the worry out of travel, especially in the winter months.
