Permanently Closed -- Moved to the "Trail Museum and Archives" in the Riverfront Centre
Jun 2018 • Couples
The Riverfront Center houses the Trail Museum the Trail Public Library, and the Trail Visitor Center. As of June 2018, the "Centre" is brand new. The Museum, per se, on the second floor is very professionally done, and is quite interesting. Parking is on the street at parking meters. You may also wish to visit the Teck Interpretive Centre, perhaps 3 blocks away on the same street. The Teck Interpretive Centre contains interesting exhibits on the Trail Smelter (the city's major employer). It is also possible to arrange for free tours of the smelter.

I stopped in to get info for a Girl Guide scavenger hunt and the staff was very helpful. There is also an interesting and interactive display to check out as well

This place helps you learn about Teck and what they do for Trail and around the world. If you get there on a weekday at 10a, I think, you can take a tour of Teck.

Plus, it is also a nice place to pick up pamphlets about the area do you can give to friends/family members

This is a very good display of the life line of Trail. It's history is so important and it has been in Trail since 1896.
The only draw back is it's location
