Mmm, Beer.
Aug 2020
Great place to visit and talk beer and sample the various offerings. We grabbed a few flights, pints and beer to go, all the while being served by friendly staff. Definately recommend if you're in town.

Great brewery with delicious beers and friendly staff
Jun 2020 • Couples
Wife and I were checking out Valemount for the first time, and as fans of craft beer (have had three ranges beer in cans before) knew we had to come check out the brewery! We were so warmly welcomed in when we arrived (common theme with our trip) and promptly had our order taken and shown to a seat out on their newly expanded patio area. They had lots of outdoor seating with plenty of space in between. My wife and I both got a flight to try out a variety of their beers and were not disappointed. All of them we tried we enjoyed! They had small growlers to fill in the beer we liked the most. Great experience at Three ranges, and will definitely be going again next time we return to Valemount!!

Pop in a for a pint!
Aug 2019 • Solo
Was staying in Valemount overnight whilst on a road trip through BC and just had dinner at Caribou Grill down the road so popped in for a pint before heading back to the hotel. It was busy, sat inside as patio was full. They didn’t have any Pilsner so they suggested a Kolsch. Very helpful and passionate staff. If you are in the Valemount area, you can not miss out on this little gem in town.

Superb beer!

What more can I say! Great beer, great outdoor space. My wife and I loved playing games in here with a beer. Be sure to get some food from the truck beside, they are more than happy for you to eat it inside, or a pizza from across the road!

Must visit Bar Valemount
Jul 2019
A very happy unexpected encounter. Looking for somewhere to eat we happened across the 3 Ranges, who don't really serve food. You can, however, buy food from other locations and bring it in. The selection of beers was great, the atmosphere really good and staff knowledgable and really friendly. If you enjoy your beer, this is the only place in Valemount to visit.

If you are traveling in the Valemount area this brewery is worth a stop. Nice selection of beer on tap. We really enjoyed the Kolsch. Our family sat outside. We ordered food from the delicious poutine from the food truck next store. Grab some beer to go.

Stop for a tasting
Jul 2019 • Couples
Stopped by here recently while camping in Mount Robson. Great local brewery. Fun staff. Tasted all their on tap beers. They let you bring food in from local restaurants which we did. Really good beer, and just love the designs on their cans. Worth a stop.

Great beer!
Jun 2019 • Family
Great beer! We had two flights, because we were two, in order to taste all flavours of beer they had except the IPAs (Im not a big fan of IPAs...). The beer was great and the selection was pretty god too. They also have a few snacks that they can serve OR there is a food truck right beside the brewery that serves full meals, and even delivers into the pub! Overall, a really nice place to check out, and taste some great beers.

I like to support local breweries, but the beer falls a little short for me
Jun 2019
Lovely staff and a cute small brewery. They did a nice job of creating an enjoyable environment in the space they had. Had a sampler and than a few beers. I love craft beer and have literally tried beers from over a hundred breweries. These just fell short for me. There wasn’t a lot of range between their beers. If I closed my eyes I wouldn’t have been able to tell I was trying 4 different samplers. All their beers that I tired were quit bitter. I didn’t feel their beers stayed true to their designated styles. For example the kolsech tasted nothing like a kolsech. It’s ok to put your own spin on a craft beer but I feel like if you call something a kolsech or a hefe or a stout it should stay true to its name. They made many different beers but I would rather see less quantity with each beer being distinct and of high quality. They had a small menu of snack foods which looked alright. All that being said I still encourage you to come and drink this beer and support local rather than buying Coors light or something of that nature. A cute brewery that somebody has put good effort into, just not my first choice when it comes to small breweries.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We try to make many different styles of beer for many palates. We are quite proud of our beer, sorry it wasn’t to your taste! Thank you for the positive comments about our staff and tasting room. Cheers!

Beer sampling on the deck
Jun 2019 • Friends
Perfect June day, sun streaming down, gentle breeze, surrounded by mountains...and great beer. What else do you need? My wife and I stopped here as the first stop in a personal Ale Trail, having had several of Three Ranges’ brews before. The venue is perfectly situated to watch the world go by and these guys have something for everyone - for the craft beer junkies, Sacrifice Red, vALE Trail XPA, and Snowdance Porter are easy drinking. Obviously not for children, but a great place to hang out and while away some time with family and friends. Michael Lewis, the inspiration behind the brewery, is a US veteran and all-around good guy. Decent brewer, too!
