We went where Google maps told us at dal but could not find them. It just led us to a driveway behind a building and we did look but didn't see them.

Thank Heavens they removed from downtown and hid them at Dal AC. Crumbling concrete rapidly deteriorating, and only the re-bar holding it together. Wonderful example of poor quality concrete not standing up to the weather. If they had any significance for Truro, or Nova Scotia...More

A really interesting site. Neat to see this piece of history right here in our hometown. These concrete wall sections give a sense of what the wall must have been like during the Cold War

It saddens me that they moved the wall pieces from downtown Truro to a location that I do not know. I want to take my grandbabies to see them and have pictures taken

To see the large wall sections of Berlin leaves you with many raw feelings and gives you a wee glimpse of the past and the barriers mankind put up to isolate, punish/protect people. Tears always flow as I walk, drive past them. Frozen in time.
