This was a beautiful old Anglican church, unfortunately it has been allowed to deteriorate to the point that services are no longer held in the church proper as it is unsafe. Services are now held in the Parish Hall adjacent.

I have many memories of St. Peter's Anglican Church in Cobourg, Ontario from the late 1950's through the 1960's. I attended services there with my parents and brother when I was younger and into my teens. I was also an active Boy Scout in the St. Peter's Regiment and represented the church and town at the 1967 Boy Scout Jamboree in Couer d'alene Idaho. Many good memories and values learned.

A beautiful church! We felt very welcomed by parishioners when we worshipped there on a recent Sunday morning. Unfortunately, the worship area of the original church (the nave) is currently closed for renovations.

My in laws were dedicated to them for 60 years, we are neighbours for 33 years. They build a new Chapel, I used to love the perfect blue stainglass traditional one, charm of the historic district. Boundary land discovery made us found an error, infringing on ours,it is not corrected after11 years.

Lots of activities throughout the church, singing, exercise, discussion groups etc. Beautiful stone building. The interior of the church is spectacular, high ceilings, stained glass, wooden pews and lecturn. Heard the pipe organ at a service, lovely tone.

This is a lovely old church. In 2019, it will be 200 years old. Such history! Their services are the wonderful Anglican tradition and the have a great congregation.

I never get tired visiting St Peter's Church. Not my church of choice although the clergy and congregation are always open arms and with open hearts. I've been to several Christmas Services and sadly funeral services. This past month Cobourg lost one of her finest residents. The Concert Band were there as was the Piper. It was a service to remember.

While I do not attend services here I do take classes in the building. I am always greeted by a friendly face at the front desk and the directional signs, along with the digital monitor at the front desk, make it easy to find classes, The building has a lovely "feel" to it, history can be felt in the halls. There is always something going on here, soup group, clothing sales, dance classes, etc.

The stain glass windows were beautiful. Located on the sides and at the front altar. Located across from Victoria pArk. Lots of free parking in the area. Easy walk from the shops and cafes

Awesome church. Was attracted by the sound of the bells. Largest Anglican Church outside of Toronto. Recently been renovated but did not lose its charm.
