I had the opportunity to take Richard's 1 week long workshop at the Woodlawn a few years ago. I must admit my review is rather late. However, Richard is a down to earth guy who is willing to share his knowledge and expertise. The entire workshop was well run from the great photographic venues, the ambiance in which it was... I just spent Mothers Day weekend at a photography workshop with Richard Martin at the Woodlawn Inn in Cobourg. From beginning to end, it was a great mixture of photographic opportunities, collaborative learning, warm hospitality and great food. I highly recommend the experience and hope to repeat it in the near future. Susan C.

This was our first photography workshop, and to be honest, we were a bit intimidated by the prospect of having our photos shown and discussed by what we thought would be a group of advanced and exacting enthusiasts. However, all that vanished the minute Richard welcomed us to the workshop and introduced us to our six co-participants. They were no... More

I’m a great admirer of Richard Martin’s (and Charlene Kenna’s) work so I decided to make the trip from Rhode Island to Cobourg for the workshop. It was a long drive but worth every minute. The workshop was an amazing learning experience and I hope to do another again soon. The Woodlawn Inn is absolutely charming and the food is... More
