Art in a Box Workshop: The perfect treat for gatherings on birthdays, family reunions, or just a regular day. Marcela brings her knowledge and everything you need to create your one-of-a-kind pieces in the comfort of your home or cottage. Make your own 6" plate, set of 4 coasters or 4 suncatchers using pre-cut glass to create your one-of-a-kind pieces of art. The pieces will then be fired and fused together in a kiln in Marcela's studio and return to you within 2 weeks. Price: $50.00 + tax per/person | Minimum of 10 people Duration: 1.5 hours Glorious Glass Workshop: I will guide you through the design, cut and composition of a 6" plate that will later be fired up in a kiln specially designed for fused glass firings. Final piece will be available for pick up or shipped to wherever you are. Tools and materials fully provided at the beginning of workshop. Price: $100.00 + tax per/person | Minimum of 6 people Duration: 3 hours

With a group of friends we drove 1hr from Toronto to experience a 3 hours hands-on workshop with glass. We learned a bit of Marcela's trajectory as an artist while surrounded by her many beautiful pieces displayed in her studio. It was a great opportunity for me to use a variety of tools and glass in different shapes and colours for the first time.
Marcela shares her wealth of knowledge and her love for art with great generosity and patience, teaching to the group and at the same time giving attention to individual questions. I had a great time and in a scale from 1 to 10 I'd give and 11 to this great workshop!

I was looking for something to do in Cobourg and came across Marcela Rosenberg's Glass Studio outlining her workshops. My husband and I decided to book places in one of her Art in a Box Workshops last Saturday. We had no idea what to expect, but never expected to have so much fun in a relaxed, informal setting. Marcela is brilliant; an absolute gem of an instructor. She is so warm and welcoming that no-one need be nervous about "having a go". The Art in a Box Workshop is 1 1/2 hrs and the time absolutely flew by. All the glass shapes are pre-cut by Marcela, so no cut fingers. Just a super fun, relaxing morning. We completed our masterpieces and have left them with Marcela to be fired in her kiln. Just can't wait to pick them up in a couple of weeks. I absolutely urge you to try a workshop - for such a small cost it is so much fun and you have a really personal souvenir(s) at the end of it. Check out Marcela's website as she has fantastic items and jewellery for sale. Thank you Marcela - you are a true artisan.

I had the wonderful opportunity to take one of Marcela's workshop a couple of weeks ago and I'd like to say it was wonderful. It is a great opportunity to connect with yourself and your creativity while she guides you and explains with patience and dedication all the basic techniques you need to know in order to create you own piece. She transmits her passion for glass in every detail and makes you feel exited about it. Thank you Marcela for sharing your talent with us!

Marcela's glass workshop was an amazing experience! We learned the secrets of the glass, how to cut it, the different shapes and colors you can get it and how it melts and behaves once in the oven.
Then we had time to experiment with all the materials that she made available for us, and it was a lot of fun!
She made herself available for any question, and to help if needed.
Even though we had to wake up very early and drive more than an hour to get there, it was totally worth it!
I love the pieces I made, and I would definitely go back again.

A wonderful class! Learnt the art of glass and had so much fun creating my own ‘masterpiece’! Marcela inspired and guided us while giving us her joy of her profession. Incredible talent. I would recommend her class to everyone. What a great way to spend a few hours. Thank you Marcela!

I attended Marcela's Glorious Glass Workshop with two friends - a way to meet and do something creative. There were five students in total and Marcela was a wonderful instructor and someone who can share her knowledge and skills. We created some lovely works of art and were guided through the process easily by Marcela. I would definitely recommend this class to others. Thanks Marcela.

What an amazing workshop! I took my friend (birthday gift for her) and the 3 hr workshop was excellent. Marcela is passionate about her work, and is extremely talented! Marcela created a very friendly, inviting atmosphere, and the 3 hrs flew by. We learned a lot, and are excited to learn more in the future. Thank you Marcela for a wonderful time!

Yesterday, my daughter and I had the delightful experience of meeting Marcela Rosemburg for her Art in a Box Workshop. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and wanted to do something I just knew we would both enjoy doing together. And we did! Marcela warmly welcomed us into her studio and engaged us into a fun, creative, enlightening, personal experience. We wished we could stay longer! We will return and take another class in the near future. The creative possibilities are endless, and it was time well spent together for my daughter and I. It was a pleasure to meet Marcela and learn about her passionionate work. Can't wait to return! Thank you Marcela.

This weekend I had the pleasure of joining 7 other women in learning about fused glass from the very talented artist, Marcela Rosemberg. Marcela guided us, providing us gentle direction, but allowed our own individual creativity to shine through. I am very lucky to live close by to Marcela's studio, but would have driven a good distance to learn from her. I am looking so forward to picking up my art tomorrow!

My wife and I visited Canada for a week's vacation and I have to say, this was the highlight of our trip! We wanted a break on the long drive between Ottawa and Toronto, so we decided to stop in picturesque Cobourg. Looking up things to do in the area, we came upon Marcela's glass workshop. Marcela was so warm and welcoming and immediately made us feel comfortable, despite our lack of any prior experience working with glass. Marcela thoroughly explained the process and guided us in designing our projects while giving us space to express our own creativity, and she ensured a pleasant working environment by inviting us to choose background music and serving drinks.She was available throughout the workshop to help us along and answer our questions with patience and humor. It is clear that she is passionate about her work and is eager to help participants see the beauty in this art form. Marcela's unique workshop is enjoyable and fulfilling, and the variety of projects that can be created ensures that participants of all ages and backgrounds have the opportunity to craft a beautiful piece. We loved the experience from start to finish, and we're so glad we made this a part of our trip.
