The day we walked the beach it was bitterly cold and windy. But it looks like a large, lovely and clean beach, situated very close to the downtown shops. I will definitely come back in the summer with my three little ones. Smaller than wasaga, hopefully not the party place that it is.

New Years Day bundled up took the dog and went for a walk. Water so rough it didn't even freeze. Crisp and I loved looking at the townhouses and apartments around the area

Most people head to the big beaches around Toronto, not knowing that just a short drive down the highway is a spectacular beach with lots of sand to play in! Local businesses provide fantastic food and beverage and you can even camp a few steps from the shore.

A busy sandy beach, but still lots of room for everyone. Shallow lake for quite a distance with lifeguards in attendance. If you don't like crowds visit during the week.

We are at the beach all the time in all seasons. I love the mosaic of people who flock there in the summer, the food, the music. Only problem with our beach is that there are getting to be more and more rules; quite often rather silly. And another neat thing added this year, was the lending library right by... More

Nice sandy beach with lifeguards and amenities. Close to town centre and shops. Can get quite crowded and noisy at times. Parking meters only take coins, which can be annoying.

This beach is beautiful! Very large and located in quaint downtown Cobourg where you can browse through the local shops, drink coffeee at coffee houses and several restaurants. They have a sandcastle contest here in the summer which is a popular attraction. I don't think I would swim in the water there but many people do.

One of the best Municipal beaches in Ontario with great swimming. The best thing about the Cobourg Beach is that it is just 1 hour from Toronto but "Worlds Away".
