We are fortunate to have real historical places right here in Cobourg. You can't miss the Marie Dressler Museum as it's right on the main street. Plenty of parking, just a short visit is all it takes to see the museum so it's worth stopping by.

The recently re-designed Marie Dressler Museum in the "Dressler House", Cobourg is a pleasant surprise. The new exhibits have replaced the dusty old ones that used to be there and they make good use of modern communications techniques using sound and video with iPads mounted on the displays. I had no idea Marie Dressler was such a star in her day. Now I know!
