My husband and I decided to check this place out when doing a road trip of northern Ontario. It's a great set up they have for the polar bears as opposed to being in a zoo. They have a small pool that steps down to...More

We came expecting to be able to see and swim with the polar bears. $65 ended up being a very steep price to pay for this visit. It was explained to us that the bears might be in the cooling areas and not out to...More

This is great way to see the polar bears. The facility clearly cares about the Bears. The staff don't make the Bears perform for the public. The bears have a building they can go to that that are not accessible to the public. It is...More

Had a wonderful morning visit at the Polar Bear Habitat! Highly recommend visiting if your in Cochrane. We were able to see all 3 bears out and about. If you make it there, check out the snowmobile museum.

Totally unexpected! You are able to swim with polar bears. But not without a bullet proof window between you. Had eyecontact with one of them whicb was absolutely magical! Love that the bears have a lake for them now. Something I'll never forget.

Amazing experience to have face to face with polar bears, there are beautiful facilities, where polar bear's environment is researched by a dedicated staff, it is open to public.

What a great experience. Where else in the World can you get this close to Polar Bears? It's a beautiful place to visit. Can't wait to go again.

I struggle with zoo's, but the Habitat was thrilling. The bears have relatively large outside enclosures and a large pond to swim in. The interactive education centre was impressive and the staff very informative. The heritage village was closed for the season, but looked like...More

Admittedly I went in kind of an off season, but saw the three bears. They were pretty active, wrestling and wandering about. Took lots of good pictures. Didn't get a chance to visit the historical village - it was a bit too cold for that....More
