Kevin and Liz are super fun, experienced and allow for a great time during your ATV experience. My friends and I have used them both is summer month and this year I tried winter over the weekend. I had a blast especially after the snowfall the night before. The temperatures do drop a lot out there so extra layers (pants, socks, hat, scarf, warm thick gloves) and you'll have a blast.
Thanks guys, we'll be back for the autumn to see the leaves changing colours!

Our family went for a trip today with Kevin and Liz. It was amazing. It had rained earlier in the day but it was clear when we arrived. The instructions were easy to follow, safety was stressed up front and great tips were given to make our first time a great experience. Our daughter had never tried this before and now it’s her favourite pastime.
The trails are in great shape, easy to use and clearly well maintained. The forest we went through was beautiful with lots of birds, rivers, trees and things to see.
I highly recommend this if you are looking for a family friendly way to enjoy ATVs and the outdoors.

A surprisingly fun activity, especially good for those who wanted to try something like an ATV but never had the chance. I was in a red 450 ATV and so was my girlfriend. Learning to drive took less than 10 minutes and we were off. Only bummer was that the group we were with couldn't take any turns without full stopping. Recommend it to people on weekdays or quieter weekends if you want to have a more private experience.

Extremely disappointed considering the cost and less than exiting experience. We spent more than 20 minutes of our 1 hour time slot waiting for one person to keep up. Then the tour guides had the bright idea to put the slowest person in the group ( by slow I mean was continuously stopping and stating) at the front of the entire group and ruined the entire tour for every other rider. Even the 8 year olds with their parents were getting bored with how slow we were going and how often we had to stop and wait.
Spoke with the female guide after about our experience and she also stated it was an extremely slow tour and she apologized but was told she couldn't do anything as the other guide was the Owner. Tried voicing our concerns to the owner of how we were disappointed and spent a quarter of our time slot waiting around and he clearly didn't care / just brushed us off and walked away to gas up the ATV's.
In short, don't go if your actually looking for some excitement. You have no choice but to go as slow as the slowest rider and it literally ruins the experience for everyone else. Definitely not worth the price.

They did not provide a specific address along with their order confirmation. It’s not an obvious place to locate. After we get there, we waited for more than 30mins after our reserved time to start our session. The entire whole ride is slow as hell. The machine they have are very fragile, only some ATV have bumpers installed, considered the trail is in the woods. If u were unlucky and bumped into a tree or the person in-front of you, your $120 session will cost u a fortune.
instructor himself was very inexperienced, he stopped right at the bottom of a mini hill, I was the 4th one in line and I happen to bump into the person in-front of me while going downwards because everyone is clogged behind him and he claimed that I did not leave a good distant with the person at front but it would not have happened if he didn’t stop. As the result, they charge me for the damage I made and refuses to provide any sort of invoice (or past invoice) or quotes on the damage from the workshop. Also said they are not obligated to give us anything other than his own made up invoice.
Also, I over heard that u can only get the photos they took for u if you leave good reviews for them. Reconsider when you see these “good reviews”.

We appreciate all our reviews so we can make our tours a very enjoyable and safe experience for all our customers. We are sorry you had a bad experience due to your accident and we understand it’s very frustrating having to pay for damages caused to the ATV. Our goal is to our customers safety and we are truly happy nothing happened to you and only slight damage to the ATV. We hope you will consider visiting us again so we may have the opportunity to make your next tour a much better experience.

While the environment is beautiful, you can ride your bike faster. If you are fairly capable at driving, you will be bored and frustrated by being boxed in by those in front and behind who are travelling between 5-10 km an hour at best.
This experience is for children and old people or those who don't have a lot of confidence in driving.

Traveled from Hamilton for this ATV experience, don't think for the travel time (2 and half hours) and cost ($139 per driver) that this was worth it for our group. Also wasn't informed that from the business address/meeting point to the actual start of the trail is a 40 min drive to Markdale. So we arrived for our time slot, signed our waivers and then had to hop back into the car and drive with the tour leader to the trail head.
Trail was public use, and mostly gravel, very straight, no hills, also not much forest cover. Speed of the group was about 10-20km/h. Rode ATVs for about 40 min total. One member of my group overcorrected a turn when she thought she was slanting down and drove into a shallow ditch at the side of the trail. Vehicle did not flip over, no one was hurt, the front bumper was slightly bent inwards. Was told that they needed to replace the entire bumper and that the cost would be $339. Asked for a receipt or invoice for any replacement part that they were going to purchase, and they said that they couldn't because they do the repair themselves (honestly didn't make much sense but it's alright we get it, business is tough). Overall, we didn't know much about ATV repairs and didn't want to cause a scene, so we went with it - just letting everyone know to be wary.

There doesn't appear to be any covid measures in place. No masks, no sanitizing of machines, clipboards and pens passed around, no social distancing. There are also NO HELMETS which is 100% illegal.
Contrary to what the website says, they do NOT offer instruction and training to kids and a trial run to ensure that they are safe and comfortable with the machine before heading out. And then if they make a mistake and bump into a tree or rock, you get hit with a $1000 bill. But it starts out with a "hey, this could be a total write off of 15k... oh wait, if we brought it to the dealership it would be 2k, but I'll do you a favour and do it myself for 1k". and if you give them an etrasnfer right then and there, you save the tax. It was a total scare tactic and unfortunately worked. I got home, and looked up the part and replacement cost of the part and labour involved. The Part they said was damaged costs about $250 at the high end, full retail. And dealerships charge around $700 to replace it including parts and labour. So it's a total scam!!!
Also, they advise you not to worry about pictures as they will take plenty as you go. They take one and then charge you $5 to get an email copy of the digital picture which is ridiculous.
Do no go here. It's unsafe, it's a very slow course, and heaven forbid you bump into anything. You will be hit with a huge fee and frightened into paying it instead of them providing an itemized invoice and proof that they had to fix anything other than a simple alignment job at all.

We were a group of 4 drivers. We rented 3 dune buggies and 1 ATV. First, the positives. The owners were friendly and the process of booking online was easy. A good safety demonstration and very clear instructions. I was a little concerned over how well the helmets were sanitized given the pandemic we are in. The helmets were optional but given how slow the ride is I should have opted out of the helmet. The trails through the large property are very well maintained and the drive through is beautiful. If you are a first time driver then this is the trail for you. If you have driven a dune buggy or ATV even once before you will be so BORED. I actually considered just returning to the garage and forfeiting my money because it was painfully slow. The maximum speed we ever hit was 15 km per hour and even that was rare. The average speed we went was between 8-10 km an hour. Truly, so slow and not at all fun. If you are looking for a true ATB/Dune buggy experience please look elsewhere. I was looking forward to having a picture or two of our group. These were taken by one of the owners as we were driving the trail on just their phone. Then they wanted to charge $5 per photo to have them texted to our phone. No thanks. Save your money.

Where to begin, disappointed to say the least. If you are going to require people to drive an additional 40 minutes away for the tour, that should be disclosed on your web site. If you are going to require people to FOLLOW you on the 40 minute detour, don't drive like a bat out of hell where the clients, who don't know where the trail is, cannot follow. Give them an address so they can meet you there. They took no consideration to those trying to keep up and it was frustrating that they just continued on like we knew the directions. We were hoping for an exciting adventure for my partners 40th and we were taken to a strait gravel walking path that used to be a train track. They allowed the same couple in the front to keep pace so we did 20 km/h the entire way....I had more fun on a golf course driving a golf cart than this. I know it was our first time but I was falling asleep towards the end of the hour. Two small loops in the woods hardly consists an adventure and this was nothing but disappointing. Was not worth the price by any stretch.

To ensure the best possible experience for our customers we use the trails that are best suited to the participants skill level. On your tour no one in the group had ever driven an ATV before. We chose the best trails that would best suit everyone’s skill level. You were told exactly where we would be going, given the address and told you could either follow us or drive a quicker route that is very scenic. You were told because we were pulling a very large trailer we had to take a different route to avoid hills and left the choice to you to either follow us or take a quicker and much more scenic route, you told us you would follow us and that was fine. We are blessed to have a very large amount of trails in our area to use and we always select ones that will have the best experience for our customers. We travel at a pace that is set by the customers and their skill level and this ensures everyone’s safety. You had mentioned you had driven a motorcycle before so you felt you would catch on quickly and you are correct, motorcycles and ATV’s are very similar to operate but your wife was not as skilled as you and drove at a slower pace. We can only travel as fast as the slowest driver in the group and also because you and your wife both had your children riding as passengers I don’t believe going to quickly on your first experience on an ATV would be a safe idea. The trails we selected are about a 30 minute drive from our meeting location and are excellent for new drivers, very easy to navigate, very smooth and very scenic. It is difficult for us to trailer the ATV’s to that location but we truly want our customers to have the best experience possible so we do it for them.

I’m reading that kids age 13 who are responsible can drive an atv as your response on tripadvisor, but on your website it says you must be age 16. Please clarify as we are interested in booking soon. Thank you

Is this available in the winter? Can kids drive? At what age minimum can kids drive or ride? How much does it cost for kids and adults? Is this available during COVID?

Yes we are open all year long. On our tours we maintain a distance of about 20 feet between machines so social distancing is not a problem for us. Kids can drive as long as you feel they have the skill to operate the ATV safely. Usually 13 years old and older have the ability but every child is different. Drivers are $119 and passengers are $35.

How far in advance do you have to book? Also how much is a side by side as apposed to a 4 wheeler? Is there a discount for booking more than one? How long is the tour ?

Weekends book up very quickly so we would recommend booking at least 1 week in advance, weekdays can usually be booked a day or so in advance. The side by side is $149 and the ATV’s are $119, passengers are $35. Their is a 2 driver minimum and the tours are 1 hour long. We are located on top of Blue Mountain about 10 minutes away from Blue Mountain Ski Resort or about five minutes away from Scenic Caves which is pretty much right in our backyard. You can book your tour online at our website and once you make your booking you will receive an automated email from us with our exact address and other helpful information.

Hello from ATV Adventure Tours,
All of our ATV’s have 4 wheel independent suspension so they have better suspension then most cars do. All of our tours are private for your group only so we go at your pace.
Thank you for choosing Adventure Tours,
