Right from when we got there we were made to feel very welcomed. We did the Italian class and it was superb. We learned so much and both Philip and Leanne were so helpful and encouraging. Will definely be going back for another class. It was so much fun.

It was such a delight to spend time cooking with you and your friends. Nothing gives me more pleasure to meet new people and be able to teach them professional skills and techniques, and know they are also having fun. Look forward to see you again to take another class. More

Philip and Leanne are wonderful hosts for a delightful evening of fantastic hands-on cooking. We had such a great time and the food we made under their guidance was simply amazing. From beginning our lesson by learning how to make pasta dough to finishing up our meal successfully becoming 'first time crepe flippers' (hint: you have to commit to the... More

It was lovely to meet you and your sister. I'm glad that you enjoyed yourselves, and learnt some new skills and techniques. Committing to Flipping is the Key for the crepes. Look forward to see you again for another cooking class More

I attended the Italian cooking class as part of a girls weekend, we had a group of four and the youngest was 8yrs old. The kitchen is part of a bed and breakfast (Willow Terrace B&B) and set back from the main road, very peaceful location. The owners of this company are absolutely fantastic, down to earth people who make... More

It was a delight to meet the family. I was surprised how attentive your niece was and how much she enjoyed cooking. It goes to show that it doesn't matter what age you are to learn how to cook. Hopefully it will inspire her to keep on cooking, with or without recipes. Look forward to see you again at another... More

Our hosts were very friendly. The breakfast was amazing, especially the fresh croissants. We went for a walk around their property through apple orchards. The setting is very tranquil. The room and bathroom were very well kept. The cooking class was great, a really good value with lots of pie and strudels to take home. We learned a lot! Thanks... More

My husband and I and our three children (ages 10, 12 and 14) spent an evening doing an Italian food cooking class with Chef Phillip and his wife Leanne. They were wonderful hosts and educators. We learned to make gnocchi and rolled out homemade pasta. We made delicious homemade tomato sauce. The kids learned proper knife skills and the adults... More

My two children age 8 and 10 joined my husband and I this December and attended the Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate culinary class. It far exceeded our expectations and was the highlight of our stay in Blue Mountain. Chef Tarlo and Leanne were so enthusiastic, kind and generous with their time and friendship, making our children feel excited to return and... More

Attended date night with my wife, daughter, and son. Phillip Tarlo entertained and instructed us as we learned how to cook pasta from scratch and 3 different entrees. The food we created was out of this world! I am definitely going to get some durum semolina flour and some ravioli cutting tools and get busy! Quite inspiring!

This is great! You book the school for a cooking lesson with you friends. Or it can be your other half, church group or whatever. At the end of it we sat down to enjoy the food we made. Phillip and Leanne were great hosts. And I learned a lot about cooking. Everyone should give this a try

Philip Tarlo put on a fantastic class full of tips and skills and stories. We got to taste a bit of everything and then help prepare a three course, delicious meal, sitting in the lovely dining room to enjoy each course between going back to make the next one. Bring your own wine.
