We drove from Kenora to view the Redditt Bottle House. It took about 1/2 hour and was a pleasant scenic drive. There is a collection of small houses, well, and windmill made out of bottles and mortar. The houses are furnished with dolls to suit the theme of each house. I was quite impressed with the amount of work and the artistry involved.

Our family has a long history with the Redditt Bottle House. We discovered this amazing "village" when the children were little and make the trek to Redditt almost annually with camp visitors.
The bottle houses are open to the public pretty much every day in the summer. Admission is by donation.
There is very little for tourists to see and do in Redditt--be sure to bring a picnic lunch. The site is worth a visit.

The bottle house and now also the bottle windmill is in the middle of Redditt in a little side road. There are no signs so you have to ask or drive just every small road ......there are not many.
Interesting to see what you can do with bottles, gives you great ideas !

It is unique, and worth a look if in Redditt for some other purpose.
Redditt is basically at a dead end road, and doesn't have much to offer, except perhaps a Legion and train station.
