The beach changes each year with how much ice covers the lake, and how high the water is each year. This was the first year that there was not a full sand beach, which does take away from it a bit. But it is always...More

This is a sandy beach, very handy to the centre of town. It is very busy in the summer but pleasant nevertheless. The view is good.

Station Beach is a nice sandy beach and a great boardwalk along the beach with some beautiful gardens and benches. Station beach is a great place to sit and enjoy the sunset. Parking is free and there is a lighthouse nearby to enjoy.

Spent a couple hours here last weekend, and it was beautiful! Water so blue it looked tropical, long clean sand beach, with good parking and plenty of space so you weren't packed in cheek-to-jowl with your neighbours. Will definitely be back!

Shoreline is lovely. Great to be around during stormy weather...for the large breaking waves. Early winter and spring, great fun watching surfers on large waves.
