Planned a date night with my long distance boyfriend using their online escape room adventure option. This was by far one of the most exciting experiences we have been able to have together since covid has started. Despite not being able to physically be there together to solve the escape room, the remote online option for game play was delightful and innovative. We were able to solve the multiple puzzles from a first person point of view which was really enjoyable. We played the original escape room as it was both our first time doing an escape room and it was a great introduction to the escape room world. The puzzles were well thought out and some posed more difficulty than others but it was so fun to solve them all. Overall I really enjoyed how this company is accommodating people with an online option and how immersive the experience was even though I physically was not there. I highly recommend this as an activity for people to do either with friends, family, or their significant other. After completing this escape room we are hooked and already looking into and planning our next escape room date night with Adventure Rooms Canada. Also to add, the cost was very fair, especially when compared to other (limited) online options.

We booked The Mayor's Office virtual experience for our anniversary. We would normally go in person to celebrate, so having an option to do it virtually was cool! I loved that we had a live host and that we actually got to play the room! Our host stayed in character and tried their best to move slowly when scanning the room and holding things close to the camera so we could read it, sometimes it didn't always work out though, and they had to read it for us. I did experience a bit motion sickness around the end but I'm pretty sensitive to it. There were some times where physically being in the room would have made it easier to figure out the puzzles, but we still managed to escape within the 60 minutes! It would have been more fun in person, but under current circumstances, this is definitely the next best thing and that's why despite the few struggles we had, I'm still giving 5 stars :) I highly recommend, especially if you're missing escape rooms like we are!

Well situated in the old industrial park, with a truly delightful lounge and very friendly staff, Adventure Rooms Canada's Kitchener is a treat to visit. They have a long history of treating people with escape experiences, that experience pays off. My only gripe would be that a hot day will be something you feel given the climatization. Also, the long history does mean that some aspects of the room are a little worn given the amount of wear they've received over the years. I might suggest some repairs or updates if possible. That said, this is a must try for anyone who wants a taste of what the original experiences were like.

Booked a virtual escape room for a group of 4 in 3 different locations (and 2 different continents!) for a highly memorable birthday party event. We had a blast. Our host Katie provided top notch hosting, managed to listen to all the ideas being thrown her way, and really acted like our eyes, ears and hands. Super appropriate for the young teen in the mix, puzzling but not too frustrating, and luckily for us, the mayor was a little bit late to return, giving us a chance to be successful. We loved sharing this experience together.

We had a wonderful time for our first virtual escape room experience! Some of us have experiences with various in-person sessions before this and were curious with how it might work out online. We were not disappointed, thanks to our amazing host, MARGARET! She was attentive, efficient, and was able to guide us through our session. The virtual situation requires her not just to be alert and proactive, but also guide in a subtle yet effective manner. We can’t see her so we have to go with her non-visual cues… she’s wonderful 😊The game was well-designed, and the communication with organizers when booking the session was quick and effective.

We had so much fun at Adventure Rooms; found it challenging and exciting every time we unlocked a new clue. We totally got lost in the moments and focused our attention on our adventure within our environment. Staff were terrific and helpful. This was our second time "playing." Recommend giving it a try if you want something unique to do.

This is our second visit to Adventure Rooms and this time we did "The Vault" Our 3 kids (aged 11, 13 & 15) absolutely loved it (as they did the Original that we did this summer) The puzzles are complex enough without being frustrating. Each kid (and adult) contributed to us escaping with ONE SECOND to spare. We cannot wait to do the Mayor's Office on March Break. Plus not only are the rooms great but the staff is friendly and upbeat. They really add to the experience!

The adventure itself was the perfect balance of challenging and logical. All 4 of us felt like we contributed to solving the adventure. Hannah was an awesome guide -she communicated clearly and moved the camera slowly so that we could see everything without getting dizzy.

We did a virtual room, it was great! Ive never done an escape room, virtual or otherwise but it was great fun. The host played his part well, the zoom call opened up right into the room/play so there was no breaking of character at the beginning. Everyone in our group loved it, can't wait to do another. We participated from Vancouver BC!

6 of us (2 adults, 15 year old , 2 x 12 year olds and a 9 year old) spent time in The Vault. It was super fun and we all had a great time. Very clever and rewarding! Highly recommend!
