I hadn't played here in years and it was a revelation. This course is the best conditioned public course I've played in a long time. The clubhouse is overdue for a reno. The staff were friendly and helpful. Play the 18 hole course and enjoy the scenery!

Greens and fairways were very well kept for a public course. Price for nine hold walking was reasonable. Course was diverse and challenging. I will my game was as good as the course was.

Love playing the 9 hole course, great value. Grounds are kept up well, nice to have a course that is not overly priced right in Kitchener.

Went here on a Saturday night and played the small "Pitch 'n Put" course. I'm no golf expert but from what I saw the grounds were kept up very well. One downside to the course I played in particular was that it was set up a little strange. It was very twisty which made it confusing as to where the... More

I don't know what they were thinking. Me and my family used to play this course regularly for many years. It absolutely did not need to be altered from a great, medium difficulty 18 hole course, to 27 inconsistent holes. It's really such a shame, but this is one of the most colossal errors I've ever seen performed on a... More

Except for the 1st Tee alongside the busy Westbound 401 Highway, you would never know you were golfing in the city. The Grand River and natural spaces surrounding the course will enhance your pleasurable golfing experience. 3 different 9 hole courses and a chip and putt practice area make this a perfect choice for golfers of all levels. Great vista,... More

Doon Valley now consists of 27 holes after having been an 18 hole municipal course since inception. Where they erred was this. They combined parts of the original 18 with some of the new holes and the result left many players discombobulated. Where you used to be able to walk the course, you now require a cart as some of... Doon and rockway (both owned by the city) are the best kept courses around for the prices you pay. This is no GolfNorth course where you over pay to play a course that is not kept in good condition. Best time to go is during twlight hours where it is $32.75 for 18 holes and a cart. Can't beat that.... More

We played here regularly in the 1990's and found the course to be well groomed and of average difficulty. Enjoyable time.

Played there with a friend. Paid for 2 green fees and 2 full carts Brought my two sons ( 4 and 5 ) along to ride in the carts. They maybe hit the ball 5 times. More interested in riding in the golf cart. By the end the course was holding my sons club for ransom. They wanted $60.00 for... More
