My kids loved the second floor, the first floor to me seemed dirty and disorganized. The top two floors were ice age and a nature one about earthquakes, volcanos, hurricanes and tornado, my husband and I really enjoyed it, and although my kids are a little bit too young to learn about it (3 and 5), it still kept them... Museum was rather sparse and bland. The first level was a play area with lots of toys of questionable sanitation levels geard mostly for kids ages 2-10. The second level was geared towards kids ages 5-10 and contained a random collection of experiential toys such as a walkable piano (which mostly played its own notes, not what you stepped on),... You can't beat theMuseum for a place to hold an event; or something to do in Kitchener. It's a great place for kids with lots of interaction and as I stated in my title - GREAT place for weddings, events, parties, etc. The staff and the venue is wonderful and parking (attached at back) is great too!

A wonderful option for a day with kids - lots of activities to interact with and a great venue for a wedding or other event!

Great for young children to spend several hours. My kids are now starting to get older and look through everything within an hour and have little interest in the small activity centers. I loved when they added the $5 admission on Wednesdays because my kids finish so quickly here. They have always loved going though.

My company has their work party here every year. Every year we do the same things. Play with the water table. Make a stop-motion movie. Try and turn off all the lights. Pretend to grafitti something. BORING. Even the mummy exhibit was stuffy and cold. (no pun intended)

My friend & I visited The Museum to see the Terry Fox exhibition. The visit was worthwhile. We enjoyed our visit. The it items are "on loan" by the family of Terry Fox. We also visited some ice age items on display on another floor of the museum. The display was very interesting and worthwhile to visit.

I took my four children (aged 1-5) and we spent an afternoon here. I wish we had had more time. Though my children aren't really into dinosaurs, they enjoyed a lot of the exhibits. Definitely something for everyone! (Not to be confused with the Waterloo region museum, which is also lots of fun for families!)
