Overview
More
Almost inside a city, Indian Falls are in Sarawak Township, at the northwestern edge of Owen Sound. A one-kilometre walk through Indian Falls Conservation Area leads through ferns, trees and wildflowers. The horseshoe-shaped falls drop to a quiet pool before Indian Creek flows on to empty into Owen Sound Bay.Driving Directions:Follow the scenic Georgian Bay Route from 2nd Avenue West to Grey Road 1. Look for Conservation Area sign directing you west to parking area.

A nice drive along waters of Georgian Bay will get you here. It is located in the Indian Falls Conservation Area. There is lots of parking and no fees. There are washrooms but no picnic tables that I saw. And it is not open in...More

It is a short walk but strenuous if your are out of shape. There are steps up to and some tree roots to navigate through. I would advise wearing appropriate hiking shoes as the trail can be slick in wet weather. If you look close...More

Beautiful view of the falls, and very nice hiking trails as well. They go right down to the bottom of the falls. Quite the hike, but very worth it. Beautiful at any time of the year but especially breathtaking during a clear winter day.

Great place to enjoy the outdoors. The hike to the falls is not too strenuous and can be done in under an hour.

Great waterfall to go and check out. Nice hike and you can get up above the waterfall and you can also go down below and see it from the canyon.

This year the normal path has flooded because of heavy rain. It is a tortuous walk and the path to the bottom of the falls was inaccessible during our visit. We made it to the top successfully. Will return in the fall and next year!

The trail to view the top of the falls is very well-maintained and a nice walk. There were some people stream bashing and there is a trail along the stream but it was pretty muddy and awkward attimes. You could slip down easily if you...More

This waterfall lies west of the ball diamond in Balmy Beach. Park in the parking lot, then look for the trail markers. For the most part, the trail is not that challenging, although there is one portion you have to climb up to the top...More

This fall is our first choice in this region. According to Google nap we arrived at a residential area without any signage of this fall. We asked a gentleman who is going out on his driveway about the location of the fall. He said there...More

it is beautiful once you get there. I cannot go any longer as my legs will not let me walk the long rough walk into it. But for anyone able -- it is well worth it.
