This little building is jam packed with stories, pictures, pure history and now has added a little restaurant too!! Don't go if you are in a hurry -- spend some time in the past.

This is a very good visit for those interested in local history and a good lunch (tax free)
There is paid parking which is the only downside. The city should provide a few free places for visitors to the museum.

Not a huge collection, but there are some pretty cool items on display. If you know of someone with some historical pieces from the Quinte, please drop them off here.

We went for a horse wagan ride in the Christmas season that we picked up at the Trent Port Museum. For a smaller place they have a lot of history. Very interesting. We all had coffee gingerbread cookies hot chocolate. It was so nice and we also gad a visit from Santa. One of the wonderful things it was free of charge as it was by donation only. Very thoughtful of the organization. We made awesome sweet memories with nieces nephews children ,grandchildren & my siblings n spouse's we have been doing this for three years now. Makes for a fun time we sing Christmas carols on the wagon ride.

Set in the old city hall, this museum has a number of exhibits in one large room, and a remarkable collection of old photographs of the city and surroundings. A cafe that serves sandwiches and tea and coffee provides a great opportunity to sit and enjoy the reconstructed building.

Lots of local interest and a great little cafe run by volonteers. All proceeds help restore our forgotten theatre

The food was brought in, some from Costco. The surroundings are nice, though, and the people working (volunteering) are knowledgeable.
