Local spot filled with nature, playground, splash pad, pool in summer. Hills for tobogganing and area for skating in the winter. Most activities are free; however, you can rent some equipment such as paddle boats if you wish.

Growing up in Welland, we spent many winter days tobogganing at Chippawa Park, and in the summer playing in the park and having picnics. While the pool has long gone, there is still a lot of activity there. A great family park.

Chippawa park used to be hub of community. It still is but not same as it was. No pool. Not same. They have other things going on but not same. Shame.
