Every November 11th "Remembrance Day" there is a gathering at this memorial it is a beautiful tribute to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. There is generally roughly about 200 plus in attendance.

Growing up in Welland, we spent many winter days tobogganing at Chippawa Park, and in the summer playing in the park and having picnics. While the pool has long gone, there is still a lot of activity there. A great family park.
