This is a pricey place to play and difficult to get a tee time if you are not a member but we lucked out. We were not disappointed at all. This is a beautiful course that is superbly maintained. I didnt go in the pro shop or the clubhouse but my husband did and said it completely met with his expectations. We would definitely play here again!

This is a beautiful course. Not as spectacular as Silvertip, but really nice. As usual, easier for me than the husband who sprays long into the trees. I played my best 9 here... 40.... yup! COVID has taken 10 off of my handicap easily. Lol.

Learn to Curl like a Canadian was one of the best experiences I've had. A great activity for our "boy's" ski trip! We went from slugs to playing a curling bonspiel in two hours. I "dropped the hammer." Beers and a view followed.

This is the worst golf club ever. I was looking to get married here and they wouldn't give me a tour. I had been emailing them for 6 months about booking a date and when I called to book it, they said it was already booked. I've had nothing but poor customer service with them.

Golf course looks great and challenging. It would really help to be more flexible towards tourists wearing short jeans. Already paid and all we were prohibited from playing due to the shorts we were wearing. Unaware of these policies. It was never stipulated during the reservation nor during the payment procedure. Such a pity and maybe the policy towards tourists just visiting Canmore for a few days could be more flexible and thus adaptive.

This is lovely setting but we were treated so poorly by the staff that we will never return. They were rude and arrogant. They continually rushed us through an expensive round despite the fact that there were no other players within 3 holes of us. We're experienced golfers who understand pace of play but this staff clearly did not want non-members on the course. Avoid!

1- I booked a tee of time for 9 holes for 11:10am on Sunday May 11th. Upon my arrival I was informed that due to the frost, all tee off times are delayed. I asked the gentlemen why wasn't I informed of this before coming here by a phone call or something. The gentlemen replied saying that they just simply don't do that.

2- The gentlemen told me that my tee off time was rescheduled for 12:30pm. I arrived at the golf course at 12:10 to give me some time to practice chipping and putting & possibly hit some balls at the driving range. Upon my arrival I hear my name through speakers saying that I was next in line. I was then rushed to pay and get my cart to start my round. While paying at the counter the gentlemen informed me that during weekends we don't accept 9 holes and that we had to pay for 18. I had to battle with the gentlemen and explain to him that when I booked my tee off time that I booked for 9 holes.

3- The golf course itself is nice to play on but not when you are rushed. during my 9 holes, we were told twice by 2 different marshals to hurry up.

Conclusion: That was the first time I was ever told by a marshal to hurry up and now twice on this course! on a 9 Hole! that's ridiculous. The game of golf is supposed to be fun and relaxing and not stressed! I blame the poor organizing and planning skills of the Canmore golf and curling club. Maybe if the club had started the tee off times at 11am instead of 9am, or if they would come up with a better system for keeping client phone numbers for situations like this, this problem could have been avoided. But I get it, at the end of the day it's a business, and they were probably trying to get as many people on the golf course to make as much money as they can. and its too bad because I have played there before and enjoyed it, but its experiences like that, that makes me want to never come back again.

We were looking for somewhere for dinner on the holiday weekend away from the crowd.
Booked for 6.30.
We arrived on time to find our table set for 3 including iced water.
Very efficient.
Minimal waiting for meals and drinks and the service from the wait staff was exceptional.
Meals are fairly basic fare but the quality and attention to detail made the evening a very enjo y able one.
If I were a local this would by my eating place...
Highly recommended.

My husband and I recently were married at the Canmore Golf and Curling Club. We had both our ceremony and reception there. The venue was a perfect backdrop for our wedding and our guests were breathtaken by the beauty of the location. The staff at the golf course were extremely attentive to any dietary concerns as well as made the evening fun and easy for myself and my husband. I really enjoyed planning the day with the reservation coordinator, Dave Jones. My emails were answered promptly each time and on a few occasions when I dropped by the golf course, Dave made himself available to speak with me. He made our day an entire success! The entire dinner was delicious, and the mid night buffet was a huge hit. I would book here for my wedding again and again.

Many thanks,

Hilary Rankin
