We took a two hour trail ride with Jim who was very knowledgeable about the area. They limit the rides to groups of 6 people so it is a nice a way to spend a few hours in Canmore.

We took the 2 hour trail ride through the fuzzy forest, we really enjoyed it we also had great views of Canmore! Our guide Wylie was really great, made us feel comfortable. It was nice being a small group of 3 girls, we felt secure! The horses were good and they are well taken care of.

Horses were very well trained. A family owned business. Our guide kept us all calm when we had an unexpected wildlife visitor. Was very helpful when the horses got spooked. Would definitely recommend!

Our party of 4 (parents and teen boys) took the 1 hour trail ride and really enjoyed it. We had great views of Canmore and the location and set up could not be more convenient. The horses were good tempered and docile and the small group (they only take up to 6 in a group) made us feel secure as... More

My husband and I went on a one-hour trail ride at Cross Zee Ranch during our June 2016 honeymoon in Canmore/Banff. Our guide, Jim, was a great leader for the small group we were in. The scenery was gorgeous, and the mountain views from the trail were totally worth taking the chance that it might rain on us. Our trail... More

This was the first time myself and two kids (12 & 16) have been trail riding and it was a great first experience. The guide was friendly and pointed out some interesting sites along the trail. The horses we rode were excellent, it was obvious that they had been doing this for a long time. We all felt safe on... More

Guide was nice.Forest pretty but could hear road noise throughout almost the whole ride. Horses were old and plodding. Equipment was worn and ratty. Couldn't take a backpack or even water with us for an over two hour ride. No real mountain views except a couple of peeks thru the trees in a few spots. Not bad or awful. It... More

We had our wedding reception at the Cross Zee Ranch and couldn't have picked a more perfect venue! Totally unique to anything we've ever attended before, it was the perfect location a real down to Earth, 'rustic' type wedding that turned out to be a TON of fun! Brenda and Jim were lovely to deal with the entire night and... More

My daughter & I went for a 2 hour horseback ride during our vacation to Canmore. The young lady who was our guide was terrific and very helpful. The horses were great and easy to ride. We took a beautiful trail around the mountain and were shown a Coyote den, Fuzzy forest and where a bear had scratched a tree... More
