A gorgeous spot for activity for young, old, couples, family... Cross country skiing with the hills Olympian cross country skiiers and biathalon athletes practice on. There are also lots of big-tire mountain bike trails that snowshoers share--there are supposed to be snowshoe trails but we could not find them--bikers and snowshoers happily share their trails. There is also a sledding hill. There is also a disc golf course that players use all four seasons. Rentals available at the shop.

We were able to get an amazing day of snowshoeing in thanks to Canmore Nordic Centre, with lots of trails right beside the centre we were able to enjoy so much time in nature, enjoying this winter activity. We walked through a herd of deer which was so amazing, overlooked a beautiful view from a viewing point and (completely by user error) got just "Slightly" lost, but thanks to the friendly other people on the trails still made it back in time to return our snowshoes before the rental store closed. All-in-all an amazing day!

Snowshoe trail for all ages. My young daughters, who are beginners did great! We had a fun time as a family on the snowshoe trails. Snowshoes are available to rent.
