They take cross country skiing very seriously here. But a beginner like me still feels comfortable. There are lots of people around to help figure out a route. It's really interesting to share the trails with world class skiers and really have no issues.

i don't cross country ski often but when i do this is the place to do it! The weekend weather was ideal. We had sun and warm weather! People were seen on local patios... Spring like conditions; new snow and + degree temps... all combined to provide a fantastic experience at the Nordic center.

Skied when it was -17, but enjoyed it so much I kept going for 6.5 hours. I did not cover any course more than once, the groomed trails were great. The staff really work to make the experience unforgettable. The side trails are less traveled, heed the warnings posted about the difficulty ratings, or get ready for some speed on... More

Even when there doesn't seem to be any snow in sight in the town, Canmore Nordic Centre makes snow and grooms trails, so you can whizz through mountain terrain on skinny skis under a blue sky.

This is so close to home. We have gone there for cross country skiing, hiking. Watching the athletes practice, great place to sit in by the fireplace

I went here to try out XC skiing for the very first time, and it was a very good place to go. We arrived around 10.30am on a Saturday and there was lots of room in the parking lot. We arrived from Calgary after a trip of about an hour and a half on Highway 1, taking the Three Sisters... More
