We are a small family-owned and operated Sled Dog Touring company running dogsled tours out of Canmore, AB in the Kananaskis Provincial Park adjacent to Banff National Park. We have been in operation for 15 years with the British Army our main client. We run 2-hour, Half-Day, and Full-Day. This year we have opened our Kennel for tours during the summer season so we can offer family-dog adventures year round. We specialize in smaller groups and encourage involvement so you can experience dogsledding like a real musher.

Had an amazing morning dog sledding with Jan and Ian. They were brilliant guides and really enthusiastic. The dogs were beautiful and clearly loved their work. The setting was stunning, across a frozen lake with not another soul in sight. The company were really flexible about me doing it alone. Loads of time to spend with the dogs and on... More

My 14 year old daughter and I spent the afternoon with Ian and Jan, and we enjoyed every moment of it. We loved that they knew all the dogs names and could tell us someone about each one of their personalities. They let us help with getting them out out of their crates, harnessed up, and ready to go. The... More

It was an absolutely amazing adventure. The dogs, as well as the guild were super friendly and fun to be around. The smaller group made it more personal and it enabled time to interact with the dogs. I highly recommend it.

We had a group of 7 of us on a Bachelorette weekend in Canmore and this was certainly the highlight of our weekend. Our guides were fantastic, the dogs were beautiful and it was just overall a great experience!! A warm fire with hot chocolate was the perfect way to break up the trip!

My wife and I did the 2 hour Mtn Musher tour and it was fantastic! Right from the start, I knew this was going to be a fun trip. We introduced ourselves to Jan and right away we were helping set up (optional if you don't want to). We harnessed the dogs and set them up in there appropriate positions... More

My wife and I took our 3 kids (9, 6 and 4) on the 2hr Mountain Musher tour and it was enormously fun! Our 9yr old son and I got to mush a sled (together) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Jan and the crew explained everything very clearly. We got to participate in setting up the sleds and interacting with the... More

My boyfriend and I did the 2 hour trip and we absolutely loved it! We were lucky because it was a beautiful day so the scenery was just stunning out on the lake. The dogs were so friendly and we had plenty of time to interact with them before the tour. The staff were all very friendly and chatted with... More

We did the 1.5 hr tour for our baby girls first birthday. Jan & Karen took great care of us and showed us a great time. Our kids (1 & 2.5 years) loved it! The pups were very friendly and we roasted marshmallows while we sipped hot chocolate in the teepee. It was the perfect amount of time to go... More

Visited Mad Dogs and signed up for a morning tour (on probably the coldest morning of the month, 26 below). Administration (at the Mad Dog Cafe) was snagless and then on to Spray Lakes to meet the mutts! Well organised on arrival with Jan as our guide, the dogs were all loved and in good condition. The tour lasted around... More

Was a great experience doing the 2 hour musher tour just what we needed. Guides Jan and Sam were great and put us all at ease with driving the sleds. Would recommend this tour company over any in the area.
